I get that. But it is the "We havnt spent £100m" shouts that tend to grate on me.

It is a change of ownership after so long under Bill. Things will take time. And if we have a negative spend this window, but the team improves, which early signs are is happening, then I dont get the angst.

I'm not so much worried about how much we spend because let's face it the market prices are a joke. It's the lack of communication with us the fans that worries me.

Sorry I must have missed what your concerns are if it isn't about the money. Just so i can understand a bit more, can you say what's the problem(s) you have with Moshiri?

I can start with one, he is probably a bit too silent, but then you can get brash Americans that will give it all 'spade in the ground in the next 90 days' but that didn't work out too well for them lot. So it's always a trade off between over promising (like AV'S new owner/martinez) and some one who just gets things done.
My concerns: stop surfing on the crowd's adulation of seeing Kenwright out the door and start communicating his own plan.

All I see atm are carbon copy transfer windows and vague stories in the press about stadium land.

Do I think he'll eventually get the job done? Yes, probably. But this is a terrible start, imo. A textbook demonstration on how NOT to announce yourself.

Hes told us his plan.

He will give us everything he has.

Star players sold before our own transfer activity begins; the late late show in the final days of the window; players 'almost through the door' that somehow dont quite make it...

Star player Dave, singular........and one that you were advocating we cash in on this time last year.

And the only flaw in your argument from last year is that we got more money for him by holding out until this summer.

It is my opinion that selling Stones and buying Williams of itself has made us stronger at the back.

And that is even before we buy anyone else for that position.

Dave, it's nothing like that at all. If the star players were to be sold then lulaku would be cosy in West London now. We simply could not keep hold of stones, it was that simple

Koeman even said an interview last week that when he came in he told the club to hold off until he assessed the squad, directly out of his mouth.

People get far to tied up with net spend, it's the kopites way of justifying why they're not competing. If your squad is stronger at the end of the window then that's what matters. In years gone past we would have sold stones for £50m.and invested £10m.if were lucky, that's the major difference.

Moshiris biggest job us to restructure the business, making it a viable profitable venture, and he'll do that with success. You simply cannot overlook the off field changes, thus will be proven further when Chang and kitbag come to an end.

Think of the bigger picture Dave, have faith

What you reckon of earl and green Dave ? When they were at the club

Only natural the fan base (some of) are concerned about the way the summer seems to be panning out. Even our very own BK said at the end of the season (remember the cringey video in one of the lounges) "He's gonna make our dreams come true". Fast forward 3 months and we have little tangible evidence to suggest anything has been done at all. Lots of hearsay about a stadium, this supposed "warchest" we have, massive names to join... in reality, nothing concrete m a stadium, nothing to back up debts being cleared and players only being signed after we sell one of our best players.

Just trying to play devil's advocate here. I am 100% behind moshiri but can see why elements of a fan base starved of trophies for 2 decades might want just a bit more transparency from the club.
