so your saying it won't show up in Octobers accounts mate ?
No mate - the accounts are made up to 31st May, so if the loans were paid off after that it is likely that it would be included in the Post Balance Sheet Events note.
What happened last 16 October was that 5 charges were marked as satisfied, I broke it on here with the caveat that in all probability no loans had been paid off and it was a housekeeping exercise (possible due diligence), and an hour later watched toffee broke it on twitter saying 5 loans had been paid off.
Prior to the accounts being filed and being public record, there are indicators that could be used to ascertain that the loans had been discharged.

Dave, it's nothing like that at all. If the star players were to be sold then lulaku would be cosy in West London now. We simply could not keep hold of stones, it was that simple

Koeman even said an interview last week that when he came in he told the club to hold off until he assessed the squad, directly out of his mouth.

People get far to tied up with net spend, it's the kopites way of justifying why they're not competing. If your squad is stronger at the end of the window then that's what matters. In years gone past we would have sold stones for £50m.and invested £10m.if were lucky, that's the major difference.

Moshiris biggest job us to restructure the business, making it a viable profitable venture, and he'll do that with success. You simply cannot overlook the off field changes, thus will be proven further when Chang and kitbag come to an end.

Think of the bigger picture Dave, have faith

This is what it comes down to. And as it stands, it is imo

Star player Dave, singular........and one that you were advocating we cash in on this time last year.

And the only flaw in your argument from last year is that we got more money for him by holding out until this summer.

It is my opinion that selling Stones and buying Williams of itself has made us stronger at the back.

And that is even before we buy anyone else for that position.
To be fair, if this was under Kenwright with 100m TV money and the sale of Stones, this place would be going mental at how little we have spent and the purchase of Championship players and aging defenders and the likes.
Never used to matter if we were stronger or not for Kenwright bashing purposes.

Our manager has a press conference every week mate.

:hayee::hayee::hayee::hayee:

But to be serious, what questions do you want answering?

Moshiri's first statement to us was in the programme notes for the Chelsea game. I'll admit that after reading that I was jumping for joy.
Just give us a realistic interview on where we are at present, where we are heading and stop the over hyped bull like "nothing will be the same again".

It's not the sale or the particular player, it's the chronological order the window has gone in. It's very familiar with past windows.

I haven't got a problem with Moshiri, and I'm willing to give him time before I judge him (2 years is fair) but I'm not going to slap down anyone who want's questions answered now.
Nor am I, but I still find it odd - it's started since day -5 of the transfer window - "WHY HAVEN'T WE SIGNED 5 PLAYERS YET? MOSHIRI'S A FRAUD, ALL FAKE MONEY".

People (you included a few pages back I think? Not sure, soz abar that) saying "we've had some utter crap down the years" - fair enough, we have, so we should probably know that things take time... but ever since Moshiri was announced everyone's like spoilt brats - "we want transfers/stadium/whatever NOW, why don't we have it NOW, we want things done NOW". God forbid something takes time.

That said, bit worrying we're not really doing anything, but positives in the stadium announcement, Koeman and Steve Walsh at least. Fairly sure some of our current deals (sponsors etc.) run out at the end of this season, so we'll probably see improvement in that and finally stop being an absolute marketing laughing stock by the beginning of next season, or at least so I hope.

Bit disappointing we've not had a lot of transfers (loads of areas need improving), but do people not realise that what *they* want is not what our *manager* might want? I mean, some of the players we're linked with are good, but what if Koeman doesn't want them at all? We seemed to really want Williams, Gueye and Bolasie and went and got them. End of the transfer window it only matters if your squad is stronger, not if you've signed a random player you think would improve us because he's a 'big name'. So far we look twice the team we looked last year under Martinez, so will it be a good window? For me - yes. Plus there's still a week to go and these things can get started and finished really quickly.

My concern is what line Kenwright has spun to moshiri in order to get him to buy the club. Clearly if he's told him he can buy it and invest very little just like he himself has then it's very much a cause for concern.

Do you know what the indicators are mate

Im hoping hes planning on doing his talking in this transfer window, but im sure going forward we will be told about whats happening. Maybe he wants to avoid the broken promises that have littered Bills tenure? Actions will always speak louder than words.

It's not true. The Lescott cash was handed to Moyes for one.

I'm not without hope for this regime to be a success. If you think I am then you haven't been reading my posts on the matter that closely. The gist is that doubts are natural at a club like this and to expect people to not voice them is unreal. To insult those who do as if they're City fans looking for the next half billion to be spent is unacceptable.
