If the words 'we do not have to continue the short term lending' were replaced by 'we did not continue the short term lending' and documentary evidence was in place to confirm land acquisition for a new stadium, then disbelievers become believers.

I dont blame people for having doubts about what goes on at Everton, more especially around debt. Experience tells you it's wise to be cautious where this club is concerned, and it'll take more than reassurances to allay those fears.

That's it really, we've been burnt that many times
Hes told us his plan.

He will give us everything he has.

He's got pockets full of broken hearts and boots with special metal toe caps to shatter our dreams.

His name translated from Persian to English is " Peter Johnson "

I can clearly see where you doubters are coming from but you must also realise that this guy is a very private bloke, who had heard of him before this involvement. He has already done more than I expected and I'm sure there is much more to come, show some patience, if you want to moan at least wait until this window is shut. As for a new stadium our hopes and dreams have been shattered so many times its totally understandable to show frustration, even more so when the other lot open that new stand tomorrow. Building a new ground will take as long in the planning stages as it does to complete the construction so basically we could be well underway but sod all to show for it, I pay little credence to the utterings of our mayor, Joe has been wrong a few times. Sadly Moshiri is not one to talk about these things, he is a planner, a motivator leaving it to others to do the p a. Let us know the plot has been acquired if they did that would be a brilliant Christmas present and our profile would properly increase.

Lets face it Koeman is clearly head and shoulders above what went before and Moshiri was instrumental in him coming here, that is positive progress

Do you know what the indicators are mate

Short term borrowings
Charge in favour of JG Funding Ltd (now Rights and Media Funding Ltd) removal means definitely repaid.
Carroch Holdings Ltd - could possibly be dissolved as it would no longer have a purpose.

Long term borrowings
Charges from Everton FC Ltd in favour of both Everton Investments Limited and Prudential as Trustees for AIB.
Everton Investments ltd could be dissolved/liquidated as no further purpose (this may take 3 months from cessation of trading if dissolved though)
Charges in Everton Investments Ltd and Goodison Park Stadium Ltd satisfied.

It's not true. The Lescott cash was handed to Moyes for one.

I'm not without hope for this regime to be a success. If you think I am then you haven't been reading my posts on the matter that closely. The gist is that doubts are natural at a club like this and to expect people to not voice them is unreal. To insult those who do as if they're City fans looking for the next half billion to be spent is unacceptable.

You're questioning the man after 5 months with no foundation to an argument, all because the transfers have happened late. Totally disregardingthings like players stringing us along, koeman himself wanting to look at the squad before knowing what he wants. It's a weak argument.

And unfortunately davenport there are people on here who expected to see Messi and Ronaldo holding up everton shirts

Spot on dave, you simply cannot question Moshiri on here without someone saying to you "why because he hasn't spent 100 million yet "

My concerns: stop surfing on the crowd's adulation of seeing Kenwright out the door and start communicating his own plan.

All I see atm are carbon copy transfer windows and vague stories in the press about stadium land.

Do I think he'll eventually get the job done? Yes, probably. But this is a terrible start, imo. A textbook demonstration on how NOT to announce yourself.

It is difficult of course because we have been promised so much in the past and been constantly let down. (Fortress fund is in the post etc.)

We've had to become almost rock like to take the abuse from non blue friends and colleagues. I think that has left most of us suspicious and even though the plans look to be coming to fruition there is always still the niggling doubts that at any point the trap door could be swung open beneath our feet again.

I hear what you are saying with the communication issues, but even if he said I'm going to do x/y and z, while we are in the lull that we are currently in, where it seems we will miss out on the big big players and the stadium plans are still being worked on people would be gunning for him even more.

Heaven forbid if he said I'm going to get the stadium in on the docks and then it turned out peel wouldn't play ball. Riots!!

This does feel different this time we just need to summon the last bit of faith we have that he is the man for the job. Might not be perfect but he will do his best.

It's now about supporting whoever is on the pitch after the window shuts and hope they can grab a european finish. At the moment we are like Primark going after Harrods shoppers, most footballers weren't even born when we were anything. We need to see where we are after we get to that stage, only then can we really start to judge.

I don't know what tactics bill employed to get moshiri to invest. Maybe moshiri was impressed by the fact that kenwright has been able to keep the show on the road for over a decade with little to no investment of his own.

Moshiri is far more of an astute businessman than all of our previous board combined, if you think he's spent the best part of £90m.to do nothing then you need to put the crack pipe down. How the hell would he let kenwright twist his arm when he much more profitably at arsenal without the added pressure of navigating the ship
