Kenwright had been dealing with some transfers moyes confirmed that which moshiri has to take the blame for .surely walsh maybe along side koeman identify the player it's then up to moshiri or the Russian guy or Kenwright to do the negotiations
..I think we have to let that Kenwright dead horse alone. It's been flogged enough.

...oh boy. I can hear the sound of a barrel being scraped.

The Koeman and Walsh transfers.

Only at this club would some fans lump them in as playing staff.

*shakes head*

Lol I'm just clarifying that your maths was off

Bet you can't wait till rom leaves, you'll gloat like there's no tomorrow. Better hurry up and call Colin Fitz and dave kelly, I can hear the BU trumpet now

lol

Couldn't agree more. They seemed to think that Moshiri coming onboard would change us from a mid-table team to a team challenging for the PL with a gaggle of "boss" players. Time for a dose of reality. Rebuilding the club, it's image and it's stature in the game will take time. Part of that rebuilding process will be the new stadium - once that is announced and a spade hits the ground then it begins. Yes we would have loved players of the calibre of Mata/Witsel/Koulibaly and the likes - but the damage has been done to the club after decades of neglect. The dead wood needs to be shipped out of the boardroom too - Elstone and Kenwright need to leave sooner rather than later.

I do believe Moshiri is the man to take us where we want to be - but it is a big job and it will take time.
I've said it before won't believe it's a new dawn till Kenwright and elstone are no more at this club

Not the most glorious episode in EFC history I think it's safe to say.

Yer not kidding. Although it appears plenty are STILL kidded by these contemptuous comical shysters.

I seen someone say (Either here or another thread) it's because walsh had those players in mind for loysturr...So we'll get our targets in January.

Whoever it was ought to change their name to Job. P. Gullible if they believe that.

It'll be an excuse trotted out by billox & co soon enough, no doubt. Wouldn't surprise me if they were offered a PR role, because for novelty value - it's a corker!

Moshiri has probably lost a lot of respect from many of us tonight and now looks a bit of a fool. The text saying watch this space got everyone's hopes up only to be dashed by ending up with a youngster and enner valencia

He should have just kept quiet and or unless he was certain a deal was due to be completed. But chancing someone only ended up making him look a bit of an idiot, and he will always be known as the watch this space fool

For there to have been no investment whatsoever by now is extremely disappointing. I guess we will have to continue waiting to see if any investment actually materialises.

I sense Moshiri will have to make a statement after a shambolic deadline day.

It would be interesting to find out what went wrong but we will never know he truth it will all be kept in house

Koeman will probably no doubt mention the sissoko deal in his press conference but I can imagine he will swerve all questions on the lack of transfers and we will get the usual "we are happy with what we have etc"

Let's be honest here, a lot of ours "fans", particularly on here are an embarrassment. Crying about the transfer window as if it's the end of the world and we have no hope. Yes it's disappointing that we haven't brought in a big name to add to the squad, but it's not been a poor transfer window at all. We have Koeman instead of Martinez, we have Stekelenburg instead of Howard, Williams instead of Stones. As well as Bolasie and Gueye who both look like good additions. And we managed to keep our £75m rated Striker who has one of the best scoring records in Europe for his age. We added Walsh too.

We also now have an owner who is worth more than £1.3bn instead of the £30m Kenwright had and are now in serious talks about a new Stadium. The manager has just got 7 points from 9 which is our best start to a season in 10 years. To me that sounds like progress from where we were back in February and last season.

CRISIS AT EVERTON though...

Great words fella.

I'm so so happy to have an even smaller squad than last years injury prone one.

It is beyond my comprehension to think that a business mind such as Moshiri is alleged to possess would be firstly played like an old fiddle on the last day and secondly why we were dealing at this time of the window! Completelyunconvinced by any of this and certainly will be taking any stadium announcements with huge scepticism! I thought the Everton world was changing, sadly not...
