It brings unnecessary pressure on Koeman; if McCarthy is a priority why were the club offering him out and why has RK dropped him?

I would love @The Esk to give us more information on the shenangians this summer as that statement goes against everything that @The Esk has been saying is happening behind the scenes, but obviously cant say who said what etc.

I would go as so far as to say that statement makes @The Esk comments etc to be polar opposites and it may be worth trying to defend the position here as looking awful. Don't take it personally like.
