Lack of effort is far more likely.Lack of stature may very well be the main reason why we couldnt deliver in deadline day. With Moshiri this will be sorted but it takes time.

"Decline".We have finished 2 seasons on the bounce in the bottom half, we were not in the ascendancy, we were in decline.
I'm a top European player at a club in the CL/Europa, Everton want to buy me, they finished bottom half 2 seasons on the trot and aren't in Europe, hmmm!, that looks like a backward step in my career, I'll pass and join a CL club.
If you can not see an effect Martinez has had on our reputation in this league you've got rocks in your head.
Six charges outstanding on Companies House.
"Decline".
No player out there gives a flying one about a PL team finishing 5th one season and 11th the next. Do you think the likes of Shaqiri or Arnautovic were arsed about Stoke being a midtable club when they signed up for them?
It would be on companies house when they are settled.
Outstanding charges at Companies House does not mean that the debt hasn't been repaid. There's no legal obligation to inform Companies House that they have been satisfied.
It is a process.
Building the squad will be a bit like building the stadium, it will take time.
The announcement of a new stadium will speedily be followed on here by posters questioning if there is a real deal in place because the spades won't be in the ground days after the announcement.
The expectations were possibly too high , fuelled in part at leat by posters on here but largely by a general air of optimism around the club.
I think the business that we did in previous years would have been considered very shrewd.
We have brought in players that were the best at their clubs in Gueye, Williams and Bolasie and they all know the premiership.
Stekelenburg cost very little money and in these early days is proving to be more than useful.
I have already posted elsewhere that I think Valencia will possibly be the best signing of all and will surprise many on here.
The biggest bonus of all is that in spite of losing John Stones, we have replaced him with a player that could well prove to be as good or better in Holgate.
This was step one of several steps.
This week it was hoped that we would be able to take possibly steps two and three and it is disappointing that did not happen.
The management team now have another four months to further assess their squad and more importantly put in place deals that are not rushed and last minute.
It is after the deadline of the summer of 2017 that we will more accurately be able to guage where Koeman is taking the club, after all he will have been in control for one year at that stage.
Well there's no evidence to suggest we were in for any of them. The one that looked the most likely, Sissoko has said he had no contact with Everton.Please...
Looks like it.Are we skint again?
We were after better players than them two, and ofcourse players care, top players do, trying to buy CL players when you've finished well off the pace of Europe two seasons on the bounce does not put you in a good position."Decline".

Everything just seems so odd, bizzare statements and tweets. I think we are all smelling a rat here, Moshiri must know he's only a certain amount of time left to show us the money in terms of transfers and a world class stadium is going ahead.
They care about Champions League and to a lesser degree Europa League. After that it's all about money."Decline".
