I think at this point we must assume that he is infact lying mate.

I mean lets be honest, it would appear as tho everything he/she told you is now very much untrue.

Im not saying we didnt have interest in certain players over the summer, but clearly how far down the road we were with certain deals was overstated. This is not a pop at you, you have merely passed the information on, but surely you yourself must realise at this point that somebody is passing on information that puts a positive spin on the club.

Personally, if I was you, I would tell "your source" that the games up and he should find another patsy to peddle his lies.

But hey, thats just me.
I said that early in the window that people should entertain the idea that esk is being fed information deliberately to hype the Moshiri regime.

They know he's a mod and they know the influence he has. It's no different than using echo journalists.

You simply don't know that though.

If he isn't a benefactor, then he wants to make money. That's what business is - you either invest in something you want to with no solid expectation of a return, or you play to take money.

At this point, with no investment, retaking loans and a wall of silence beyond incredibly strange texts to a journalist, the arrows all point in one direction.

Poppycock David.

EL football would be enough for now.
EL? They'd run a mile. If they went to a club without CL on offer they'd want a nice restful time of it with hardly any games and a kings ransom in wages.

The belief it made a bit of difference that we finished 11th is ludicrous. We just didnt offer enough cash to the one's prepared to sit out the CL for a year or two.

Jesus Christ fella.

There's tinfoil and then there's that.

The EL is a pain in the arse for them. If they cant have CL football they'll only sign up for a wage of around £150,000 pw.
I think it makes a difference. Every player wants to win trophies especially European trophies. They might not care in the early rounds but they do once the final knockout stages begin.

However if it's a choice between earning 100K and Europa League or 150K without I know which one they would pick.

If Moshiri put his own money in, wouldn't his own shares go down in value as bill and co own more than him? Hense why he may be waiting to own over 49% to pay off debt..

You'd get players a stage or two above your station if you combined big money with European football. Let me put it this way, the likes of Brahimi would have been more tempted if we'd have finished 5th last season.

Or he is in the process of building something, something that you don't just throw endless amounts of money at, because he can't do a Chelsea or Man City. I say you are jumping the gun here and need to sit tight and wait to see what comes up regarding the stadium. You will see a little more clearly then exactly what his plans are. If he was an asset stripper he would most likely have sold Lukaku.
