Remember this....

Farhad Moshiri says that he has joined a new family after watching Everton beat Chelsea yesterday from his seat in the Director's Box.

The Toffees' new majority shareholder was joined by a typically effusive Chairman Bill Kenwright in front of the camera after the stirring 2-0 win over the reigning Premier League Champions where he gave his first interview since buying a 49.9% stake in the club.

"I bought into a great club. I felt it today," the 60-year-old said as Kenwright beamed alongside him. "Let's enjoy the day and let's hope we can energise the club.

"I think you can never take over a club," he concluded. "You become part of a club and I hope to become part of the club. I bought into a new family. That's what special for me and I give them whatever I have."

Moshiri is not a benefactor though. Remember he is an accountant by trade (a bean counter) and he will have been calculating every last penny. Perhaps, given his Arsenal background, he feels investing in a new stadium at this stage is a better return on his money rather than blowing a massive hole in our wage structure that may become untenable in the future?
Far less risky investment. A stadium is something very easily quantified in terms of risk assessment.

Certainly far more than signing premiership footballers. Look at Niasse. We spent 13m and can't give him away.

Morishi is doing his apprenticeship under the wrong guy remove BK from his chairmanship and get him out of the way well upstairs in a non active role some fancy title no power-
He has to become his own man - he has had the time now to learn about our club, but please no more embarrassment the falling down of any transfers is better put the player would not answer the phone to our top class manager so we pulled out of the deal end off - Jim @hite played our club for entertainment value like a fiddle -never again this should happen!
