I think a negative spend when we have more money in the club than ever before, and then buying at a couple of levels down from what we have been in the last decade or so doesn't feel as progressive as many wanted.. Not sure anyone thought we were out to buy Messi, but we went from buying Lukaku from Chelsea and Deulofeu from Barca.. to our big signing from Crystal Palace for a player most Palace fans rate below Zaha and being turned down by a championship player we didn't even want.Moshiri just isn't that wealthy by Premier League standards. He isn't even worth as much as Sunderland's majority shareholder, Ellis Short. As such, I'm not sure as to why so many blues seemingly thought that we would become big players in the transfer market during Moshiri's stewardship of the club. It just doesn't make sense. Yes, he has stated that he wants to invest in the squad, but he is not an Abramovich-esque sugar-daddy and he has never purported to be.
As an aside, had Moshiri not bought into the club in February, Martinez would almost certainly still be our manager. Cut the guy some slack. Give him a chance.
I am concerned that we appear to have renewed the facility with RMF, as you are assigning your rights to income to a third party which makes no sense to me if the facility is not to be used. There is nothing in the public domain to suggest that he has increased the debt, nor will there be until the accounts to 31 May are published. The fact is he hasn't exercised his share options, he's increasing our debts, he has retained bob and bill and we had a negative spend in the window. I expected none of these to be the case by this stage, yet they are all the case.
It's massively worrying and I don't get the passionate defence he's receiving from some. What is he waiting for? It all seems like a set up from Bill.
lol lol lol lol lol I can't stop laughing at this post
Let's see:
-he sacked Bob Martins from Wigan
-he brought in Koeman, who's in my opinion a much better manager
-he brought in Walsh, which is surely a good thing (just look at Gueye)
-things on the stadium front are apparently moving forward.
-he kept our best player and was able to shut his snake of an agent
But yeah, -he didn't spend 100m in his first window with us so BOOOOO
Zaha, don't make me laugh.I think a negative spend when we have more money in the club than ever before, and then buying at a couple of levels down from what we have been in the last decade or so doesn't feel as progressive as many wanted.. Most see the squad hasn't regressed, but its not progressed as most would hope after selling a prized asset for 45m
He didn't spend anything. At least not on the squad.Let's see:

He sold the most promising player in the country.
Went shopping in Swansea, Aston and South London.
Borrowed something from East London.
Texted a moron with a yellow tie with some bollocks.
See, we can all make lists of the bits and bobs that suit us.
I've seen little evidence of a brain in your head. Personally I would have loved some boss players for £5, £1M, £100M or £300M quid. Don't really care how much it costs just want good players at the club.Yeah but some of us have a brain in our head and aren't pissing our pants because we didn't spend £100M on "boss players". Sake.
That statement goes both ways. Moving on.

I think Gueye has been a good signing. My point is you give people a hard time because they selectively point out the bad things whilst only pointing out the good. It cuts both ways.Good signings > glamorous signings
I'm okay with buying players from Villa and the like of they turn our to be like Gueye is turning out to be so far.
Sorry, all i see is that Everton is in a much better shape than we were in February.
