The smaller shareholders, who are not willing to sell shares currently. If you contact Blankstone Sington and ask to buy shares, there's none available. I do not know a single shareholder who is prepared to sell before Moshiri acquires additional shares through the options agreement. Why? Because the value of the shares can only go in one direction assuming the conditions of the options agreement are met.

So, by that rubric every single shareholder must purely be in it for the potential windfall? I find that quite disturbing for a sports club.

I'm sure that was not their original intention but at this point it makes no sense to sell shares at £2000 (current market price) when you know Moshiri paid 2.5 times that for his 49.9%.

For sure, but hasn't Mr Kenwright been absolutely slaughtered mercilessly over the period by all and sundry saying he's only in it for the money, when quite clearly he hasn't done anything that the rest of the shareholders haven't done? There's too many double standards to suit agendas where Everton fans, and football fans in general are concerned.

Just take a lot on stub hub at the prices of tickets. These are ST Holders seats. It's all about money for some....

I'm not sure it is the same mate. The major shareholders BK JW and Robert earl formerly controlled the club, they made the decisions and managed our decline in PL terms over the last 20 years. It is their management of the club that puts us where we are today.

The smaller shareholders have not had the opportunity to participate in the management, in fact we've been actively discouraged. I'd put it to you had the fans been able to inject some of our ambition and enthusiasm into the club we'd be far better off.

I admire the sentiment Esk, but fan involvement rarely makes successful clubs, at least not in the worlds strongest leagues.
Shareholders by and large, certainly minority ones have a simplistic idea of how the corporation operates, and I'm not sure their input, however enthusiastic and well intentioned would have a beneficial impact.

I disagree.

The amount of utter terrible shouts I read in here and hear at the game leaves me in no doubt that the majority of Everton fans couldnt run a Brothel in a Nunnery.

I just thank God that we'll be unrecognisable from all that soon enough

How long did you say that'd take again ?

Thanks Ted
