I hope he saw the pain in the ground last night. Moreover I hope he felt it. If it sadly has to get far worse before it gets better then we're Evertonians, we can take the pounding short term. But Farhad you need to give us something tangible, not just a loan, something that gives us on field hope.

One of the biggest issues I'm finding right now is the complete relapse of realism in our club.

We finished bottom half, two seasons in a row - and yet you all think we're capable of signing the world's biggest and best?

Regardless of what money FM has, it's unlikely that we'll be able to attract these calibre of players.

Stop talking sense.

Well sadly how else do we compete. Excuses are pointless. We aim high or we accept this tripe continuing another 20 derbies. There's nothing good about this club. Gutless and rotten to the core.

In all seriousness if you truly believe this, as a young man you'd be better off finding another sport to watch and support - for your own good. It can't be good having so much passion for something that disappoints you so regularly.

We disappoint as a result of our legacy issues, but we're not rotten to the core far from it.

How many we looking at bringing in mate? It's not going to be sorted in one window but hopefully Jan we can make a very positive start?

I'm an Evertonian, I moan.

I can take losing. Just not to them. And the day I learn to accept that losing to them is the same as any other loss then that's a sad day.

Anything I say after a derby loss is waffle and pure crap but I need somewhere to vent. I'm very frustrated. I just don't see us ever getting a result over them with this style, this mentality and this squad.

It was all too familiar and no less upsetting. Change will take a long time but it needs to start next month. Otherwise what's the point.

Window isn't even open, everyone expects a quick fix because we've been dire for so long but Moshiri/Koeman need time to rehaul this squad and not even a single Jan window is going to do a whole lot.

What's the consensus on how much we'll have to spend in January?

I'll be absolutely stunned if we do any business over £20m. Hopefully that'll be enough to pick up some bargains.

well said, we are very much a community football club and I am very proud of the way in which we conduct ourselves off the pitch, the EITC work, the Bradley Lowry donation, I would love us to be better on the pitch, hopefully that will come.
keep on keeping on @everton, always been part of me, always will.

There are legions of supporters who feel the same way for over two decades of legacy issues. Trust is earnt not given on the back of loans, positive net spends and embarrassing media stunts with Jim White.

January will be a good marker for the board.
