not by all mate, whilst some of us acknowledge the shambolic past and may still be wary of the future, some can see that maybe, just maybe things could be different. I'd rather have our position now than the one we inhabited 12months ago.

the shambolic board are still in place. i have no faith with them at the helm in charge of moshiri's money.
actions speak louder than words tho, its time for them to step up or stand down.
but that is probably not what is happening now, they are in place but not in charge of Mosh's money, he is Yes they may still have their jobs to do for the time being but I'd put money on them being replaced in due course.
Would you put millions of pounds and be the major share into a venture and let others run the show?

i think you may be getting mixed up between running the show and having a job to do.
I'm no ITK but I'm suggesting that RM has his outline, including betterment of the playing staff, and if the muppets below him don't do that, it isn't because they are running the show, it is because they weren't doing their job properly. I doubt it will happen again, their card may well be marked, but I fully expect better people to be in those positions in the time to come

RM or FM? this window is going to tell us all what we need to know about our current board. if they manage to pull of 3 or 4 top signings then they will have done their job. if things drag out (as normal) and we miss out on top targets thro complete incompetance then the moshiri will have to act and sort the board out.

Ok, I just want to clarify that this reference was in no way, shape or form directed at Moshiri because of skin colour. It's been brought to my attention, however, that it could be construed as such, so on that basis I apologise if anyone did take offence.
That said, stating that something is a chocolate this or that is non-problematic for me. It is the very same as saying that something/someone is a Mickey Mouse this or that. In other words, it refers to something doubtful in value. A chocolate teapot/fireguard are just two examples. If others wish to insinuate it's a backdoor way to insert a racial slur then that is their concern. As said, it certainly was no intent of mine.

Sorry yes, FM.
We all know that January windows are hard and you pay for any signings more than you would in the summer however I expect us to be stronger at the end of the window than now. The Marquee signing will be hard but I'd expect some under the radar type of improvements as that is WTF walsh is there for.

like i say, its going to make for interesting viewing. and going on a consensus from posters on here, most are looking at us bringing in 3 or 4 top signings this window. the expectations are real, its time for the talking to stop and the actions to start.
i agree, january is always a hard buyers market, but we desperatly need good players after this summers fiasco.
that was all down to the incompetant board.... the board that are now in charge of THIS window.
