More generally, pretty much all the preparatory work has been done for Moshiri to acquire his majority holding. He is expected to become the majority holder within the next three months.

Then it becomes very exciting. In the meantime Koeman has access to his funds for player acquisition - as I said a couple of days ago, a couple are v close to completion, good ones at that.

Koeman was certainly Moshiri's first choice and most Evertonians would have accepted that 3 weeks ago. However the search has widened and perhaps there's been the realisation that we're a more attractive proposition than we thought.

The Premier League is the street everyone wants to live in. We're the only house on offer, so it's much more of a buyer's market than the seller's. That's why we've been able to attract Monchi - the odds are that Emery will come along too. Koeman is no longer first choice through his own actions - hence the "over-played" card comment.

Good vault. I retract the word consistently as it was clearly wrong.
As I said, this is based upon my recollection so I'm not going to bother looking back over it but I can clearly remember him saying RK was the number 1 choice, early on.
I think one or two days before stories that read EFC want RK and will tempt him with £100m budget were leaked to the media.

By the way it's not personal. We just used to have fake ITKs pulled up in the past. Consistency is key.

To be fair he called the DoF and the loan before anybody got a sniff, so its not all doom and gloom, hes done a far better job of calling things than I ever have, so yano, credit were its due like.

Maybe 1 day I will get something right.

Its a fair price for a team in 7th...not exactly what we first thought which was a £75mil injection through bending the rules...

So many reasons why this has happened, doesnt point to any major Usmanov influence...

Yeah i know...

BUT, its a FAIR DEAL imo...

£15mil a season for the shirt sponsorship and training ground name + more

Its not what i was first thinking which was a genius way to circumvent the rules.

Usmanov hasnt dropped a heap of cash our way, hes paid a fair price for sponsorship etc and an easy deal via his partner.

You know, its not WOW....
