And at the end of the day, that calculation isn't good enough. This is a 139 year old institution. It didn't stick around this long by making risky decisions, on or off the pitch.
This isnt risky though. We could go and get s 300 mil bank loan at what 8-10% which must be paid off within 5-10 years, we simply can't afford it.

All were doing is buying a house and paying a mortgage like normal ppl do for a minimum fee

It looks flaky as anything to me.

Honest to God, I opened that LCC document last Thursday and it was a horror story. At least we cant ever accuse Anderson of not telling us the gory details up front.
Dave I really don't think you understand the way this works and as such you no idea who's doing what or anything and it's confusing you. It's semi confusing but also really simple once you grasp it...in fact it's genius

"It looks like perfect sense to me...". It might look like "perfect sense" to you now but this is for 40 years.

Anyone cutting a deal that hands over control of Everton Football Club to outsiders for a couple of generations on the say so of a feller no one had heard of here this time last year just aren't being rational.

Stop dreaming of state of the art stadiums and focus on the future of Everton...and by future I dont mean next season or three or four seasons time when a stadium may be here.
40 years, and what?

I do see the point @davek is trying to make. Worst case scenario is the Premier League flatlines, or Everton flatline, and we can't make the payments. Yep, it is a risk, but it is a calculated risk.

Winners take risks, losers procrastinate. Everton are at a juncture were we need to take risks, or simply get left behind. In an ideal world, somebody would just gift us a stadium, but this isn't an ideal world. I appreciate the concerns over 'the risk', and I agree, we need to stay vigilant.
