Or, that is a complete overreact and he is just trying to explain how pathetic it is dealing with footballers and their agents when they behave in such a ridiculous manner, and has nothing racist about it at all? Assuming all this did in fact happen in the meeting.
I’m not asking for farhad’s head. I’m just disappointed and think he should apologize. There’s no reason to bring it up at all. If it happened it’s a personal thing for Rom’s family, if it didn’t then it’s rude and racist to assume.

Also I’m making a side point that voodoo and its antecedents aren’t from the Congo so it really probably didn’t happen.

That voodoo comment made me feel so uncomfortable. I wonder how Holgate feels when the owner of the club he plays for is literally making stupid racially inflammatory comments. I think essentially everything he said showed a serious lack of class in his talk, slagging off ex-players like he did makes us look like a jealous, bitter joke.

Ok. Interesting. Do i asume correct, if i say that it is still our (everton's) debt, and we are going to pay every cent of it back? Perhaps only with-out interests?

If that is the case, he gave us something, we have to give back, in the end. How is that using his own money? It seem rather odd.
It may be that he he converts the debt to equity like Abramovich, for example, in which case it is a straight forward cash injection. He may keep it as interest free loans and take the money back in tranches. He may convert it to a more standard loan agreement or sell the debt on. It's hard to know for sure because the Mosh is a bit of a closed book (except when discussing voodoo, agents and the like). We may end up paying it all back, we may never pay a bean of it back. It all depends on how Moshiri plans to capitalise on his investment.

I dont understand that.

Quite simple Dave, in your posts you display derision and dislike for Mosh because he had not done the things for the club you expected from his wealth and what has been done has been scorned. Hence my reference to BK would you have preferred it was still only him in charge.

Important to note it has already been classed as equity on the balance sheet.

Interesting what Paul Merson said about Mosh's comments about Lukaku and Barkley. Honest or not, he wonders if such revealed conversations might make potential new players think twice before signing. Personally I'm not bothered as it shows Lukaku and Barkley up for what they are, and I also think the money will cloud the issue with those potential signings anyway.

Let me just clearify, i don't see everything that Moshiri has done, as a failure.
That said, i see some fundamental mistakes, in his way of running the club.

I agree with much of what you said, but it has not changed my mind, about the man.

Can you tell me, how much has he funded? Out of his personal funds. It would be nice to know.

Approaching £500m (FM money)

£90m
shares on purchase.
£200m
circa net spend on players since joining
£150m underwriting existing Everton debt

This excludes his commitment to the stadium (circa £150m vs 350m from the city of London)

So he's already around the 500m mark personally, having attracted a further 350m from Liverpool City. Comfortably approaching a billion within 3 years. Thanks Mosh, on behalf of... well everyone.

Yeah 'Mers' is entertaining and let's be honest wasn't a bad player. Talks tosh like the other chaps on Sky. Thanks Mers, we'll keep your thoughts in mind as Mosh continues to plough in £1bn resurrecting our club after BK's largely cashless reign rescued and dignified single-handedly by a peak-era David Moyes.

Oh and Mers... why are you on Sky giving an opinion anyway? Oh yeah, you spanked all your cash helping absolutely nobody but casino and brewery owners. Let's raise a glass to all the clubs and players an fans that never benefitted - and I'm sure we'll dwell on your wise words and hopefully any other want-away players will, too - and think twice about wasting ours or other club's time in future. I think clubs sticking up for themselves and letting player/agent activity stand up in the broad light of day is no bad thing.

P.S. Last thing - how much of your cash did you stick into Walsall - how'd that go?

I don’t think that’s right.

where are you getting this 200 million net spend from? I work it out closer to 70 as of right now.

Also how Are you able to tell moshiri himself and not the club getting more money from to rights, is the reason?

Also didn't he put that exiting debt back onto the club? Therefore when he sells he will be taking that money with him for sure.

Also what commitment to the stadium? He has provided **** towards it as of right now and wants to load the debt onto the city and club.

i just don't understand, how he spend £200m on players, since we already got £135m in on tv-money, and sold players for £150m.

To be precise, we got £135m in tv-money, and £90m for Lukaku, in the current season (at least).

135 + 90 + 200 = 425

Are you saying we have spend £425m on players this season?

It's interesting to see, that every time i ask for some overwiew of what Moshiri has spend, out of his personal funds, some alternative suggestions come up.

Let's be honest.

The £150m debt money, was not a gift to the club. Those money are being transfered back, in to his pockets, one way or the other.

And that is about it. The rest of the money being spend in the club, is the club's own money, comming from, sponsers, player sale, tv-money, tickets, etc. You know.

No a single penny has been spend by Moshiri, as far as i understand it.

He told us, he would spend some of his welth, on a top striker, after he sold Lukaku.

Now it's been half a season, without a striker, and no news on if he still stand by his words.

Or am i wrong?
