He's been headhunted by Nike to oversee their shoelace department, on account of his extensive experience in tying his shoelaces during competitive fixtures. When asked for his comment about the imminent move, Jags said "yeah definitely", and I must say I thoroughly agree with his sentiments.
This generation of Everton supporters have truly been blessed to have experienced the truly unique leadership Capt Jags has provided our team. Not a day goes by when I do not think of Moyes’s parting gesture in appointing Capt Jags as leader. and shaking my head in absolute amazement.

I was a Sam supporter but if he has to leave in order for the team to move forward then fine, but there has to come a time where Moshiri role needs to be examined more, if he screws up the next manager's appointment then he should follow them out the door. This next appointment needs to be for the long term so if it's Paulo or Marco (who I think would bolt first for a 'big' job) then I will give them my support, but there's no point getting someone liuke Wenger etc... who would be an appointment 10-15 years too late.

All appointments should be for the long term.

And in my experience folowing EFC that is always the intention......Allardyce notwithstanding, but that was always a tourniquet appointment.

But the reality is results in the medium term determine a manager’s tenure.

A manager on a five year contract who has the team sitting in or around the relegation zone in November of his second season is going to be fired.

Pardon the ignorance, but when you are considering relieving a Manager of his duties, would not the Board Meeting come before the private meeting with the Manager?

That aside, it is slightly concerning.

I wouldn’t worry about it, pal.

No one on here knows in what order the meetings took place or even of there have been meetings about the subject at all

It is llike the way the topic of a Dom King article in Monday’s Daily Mail exercised loads of people all day on Sunday.

Monday came and article was there none,

Nobody knows nowt.
