Given that Abramovich has gone to a Israel and stopped investment in Chelsea's new ground, will not the same happen to Usmanov when his visa is up for renewal. (A number of US Senators wanted Usmanov to be sanctioned by the US earlier in the year.) He could visit, but not do business, if that happened.

I’ve been behind Moshiri since he came, even the little touches like changing the toilets, nice touches inside and especially outside the ground.

He’s overhauled the people behind the scenes, but unfortunately he hasn’t shown any ambition with trying to bring in big name players or managers. Playing and management has not improved since he came.

But now we have Brands and Silva! Let us see what unfolds.

Still dont even know 100% how it works, but it still doesnt make any sense to me.

Essentially it’s turning debt into equity, it was inevitable when we received 150 million from him, more so if he puts further money into the club this summer.

Our three options this summer are:

We don’t have significant cash flow for an overhaul, we can trade players but don’t have a big name to cash in on to raise a once off gaurentted fee I.e. Lukaku, Stones. We can try and sell deadwood, but this is unreliable as it depends if clubs are interested and we probably sell at a loss that comes of the bottom line. So not a good option.

We can borrow, but this is unlikely as we will need to keep ourselves debt free until we borrow for the stadium.

Moshiri puts more money into the club to buy players and mitigate a loss on anyone sold. He puts money into the club in unsecured debt that eventually he turns into equity I.e. more shares, rights issue depends what way you want to look at it.The most likely option unless he’s quite mad and just writes off the debt and gives us money for free, he won’t.

Option 3, is almost inevitable in my opinion and if we want to have a successful window let’s hope so.

Ah right, that makes more sense then.

I honestly dont understand it fully, I was assuming that we would search for outside investment, you know like hedge funds or something.

So its just a way of Moshiri pumping more into the club and covering his own back, which as I say, makes sense.

Pretty much mate, he gives us money in unsecured debt, then it’s turned into equity, in this case Everton create new shares and he increases his shareholding the debt is converted. He’s already pumped in 150 mill, if it’s anymore I can see an issue coming.

Abromovich did something similar.

Yeah its nothing like I thought.

Honestly thought it was some dodgy bail out thing or something nasty.
