We are trying, everyone can see we are giving it a go. Unfortunately there is no recipe to making the perfect football team. Hopefully we get there in the end but there are no guarantees in life, there are too many well run clubs nowadays to just to spring to the top.

Everything was broadly on the up and up before the derby. In the past we would have just lost the next few games. So that is a start. Just like towards the end of last season when things looked flipping hopeless, I'm sure they will upgrade a couple of positions and fingers crossed we will then be in a position to consistently produce match winning performances.
Then we’ll sell the players who have performed.

Nothing is different.

We were only behind 4 teams for the majority of the Premier League era, now we’re a million miles behind 6. There’s been no progress on that front since he’s bought into the club.

Yeah, we’ve spent money, but who doesn’t nowadays?

We’re still lagging behind on the stadium front, on commercial, on the pitch.

He hasn’t been some saviour.

Mate, that is absolutely not the case at all. Until about 2007 we'd finished in the bottom half loads more than we'd finished in the top half. then from 2010 onwards we only finished above 6th once. It's not Moshiri's fault that post-Moyes we were mismanaged horrifically on the playing side of things (well it was a little bit, for appointing Koeman). But even then, who knew he was going to do as bad a job and set us back as far as he did?

2005 - 4th (Highest since 1987)

It is Moshiri’s fault that we’re still lagging behind commercially. What efforts has he made to improve this? Why hasn’t he revamped a failed board, either?

We’re as stagnant now as we have been for years.

We’ll spin the stadium line, but deep down we all know they’re going to leave us disappointed on that as well.

What does that have to do with anything? We only finished in the top half once in the entire decade of the 90's, and that season in 2003 we were behind 6 other teams, followed up by finishing 17th the next season. I really don't think we're the level of club you think we are.

And he is revamping a failed board. We now have a DOF who actually knows what he's doing and has actually bought in many players better than the ones they've replaced.

At the end of the day, Kenwright will sell his shares when he wants to so you'll have to get used to that. You can't just sack a chairman.

Is promoting that chancer, Keith Harris, the man tasked with selling us for over a decade, revamping a failed board?

Yes, he can just sack a chairman.

you cant compare us to the city situation, you probably have to try to use some common sense here?
title.webp

They're not actually known for that mate.

Hahaha what. How do you envisage that conversation going?

"Bill, I have decided I'm afraid I'm going to have to let you go"

"Why?"

"Just 'cause"
Because we’re about to (supposedly) embark on building a new stadium and you’ve demonstrated over the past two decades as chairman that you’re incapable of being involved in such projects.

I imagine he could say something along them lines, don’t you? I won’t even get into all the other reasons Kenwright shouldn’t be anywhere near this club.
