I don’t even think it’s Everton , sport is and always has been fine margins . Look at the RS , it’s not tactical genius got them there but they’re flying . I’m not decrying them but when you’re flying at any level of sport you feel you can never lose , next thing stuff goes wrong and you feel you’ll never win .

I honestly don’t think it’s as simple as that. So many other factors in it.

Oh it did. Still hurts is now for sure.

It just annoys me to think that professional footballers earning absolute tons, and with barely any of them with any emotional relationship to Everton would let something like that affect them this much.

I almost don’t want to believe it. They can’t be that weak surely?? Mind you, Everton does stuff like this to players. We’ve seen it loads.

i genuinely believe confidence comes from the top down...

at the helm of any great business there is almost certainly a great leader / businessman

If we stay at Goodison, it will be good news if you're a fan of NZ-grown organic avocados as I will sponsor a fortnightly prize of a tray of these to the supporter, 'going the game', who boos the least.

Gwladys Blue is absolutely correct to question Moshiri.

The progress we have seen has been minimal.

Worries me like mad that people are just not seeing it. Many years of being let down most blues have pinned all hope on Moshiri. Understandable but its going to end in tears.

People maybe just realise that we have no entitlement to finish top 6, there are 6 big clubs who we are trying to catch, all of them can outspend us, maybe bar Spurs and only cos Levy is more prudent. Moshiri gave us money to spend and it was wasted, not his fault. You might see minimal progress but I see a better team playing better football and not one who I am worried about going down or being in a relegation fight. After less than half a season with Silva and Brands and people think we should be title challengers.

I keep saying it but if folk didn't have such high expectations so quickly, they might enjoy it a bit more.

Why do we moan when the RS have their name all over John Lennon Airport and yet when we top that by miles by being associated with an iconic building known throughout the world, lit in blue,on a world renowned waterfront, our own so called supporters call it a 'vanity' project? Sorry,I just don't understand that crazy negative thinking.

I agree Mate, we should be proud that we have this building. Some folk cannot see past the ends of their noses. GP will be going so the HQ had to move and where better. The RS can have the airport for all they like as far as I am concerned it nowhere equates to the Liver Building. And when in a few years time we have a new stadium just a mile or two up the road will be just the job.

How do they have the airport ? You might see the odd advert but that's it.

Granted I've not been through it in a while.

I realise the HQ would need to move when Goodison goes but as yet there's no sign of leaving one of the most historic and world renowned stadiums in the world - so why move the hq?

If building had begun at Bramley Moor I'd understand.

Don't be so short sighted...its called opportunism,a main factor in business.

Lets hope Farhad see's that this side is still about £150-200 million short of a top 6 quality.

Needs to lash a good £70-80 million on 2 genuine top quality attacking players in January if we are to go anywhere this season.
