Admittedly there were plenty on here who had their doubts about Koeman, but most of the press were staggered/peeved we got him, so on paper I guess it looked like a good move from Moshiri.

The damage that has been done since is pretty nightmarish and I suppose that’s down to a combination of Koeman, Walsh and Sam having their ludicrous deals sanctioned by Moshiri. The point of having Brands there is that he’ll be overseeing transfer business and hopefully ensuring we don’t waste as much money. Every signing is a gamble though.

when we got Koeman and Walsh on paper it all looked like the dream team, I can't blame Moshiri for that, Big Sam was a mistake as we are better than him. point proven is he wont shut up about us, were like the fit girlfriend who binned him and he can't get over. Brands is the right hand and him and silva have brought in the best players currently in our squad, all their players are our best players. we are suffering from Koeman and Walsh debacle with their transfers. yeah I wish it was better on the pitch right now but seriously bad signings like Sandro and klassen and we are still suffering, need to off a load in the summer and then see how we start next season

Here's the thing though.

Those comments on Walsh I made were before the summer of pissing money away. So right then, signing hit young wingers were a good sign of building for the future before he threw 250 million at a terrible squad.

So not quite proving your point against me is it?

As for the koeman comments, again came when he was achieving exactly what he was hired to do, 7th and European football. Again before the money was wasted and he waited to be sacked.

Again nothing wrong with those comments. With lookman Davies holgate and lewen he was building a young team spine which was a good thing.

But I suppose none of that matters eh, more happy to try and attempt the show and awe approach without actually reading what I wrote or the context of time......

The fact is, you were quite happy with the appointments when they were made and for a period after. You make out that they should never have got the job but you were quite happy with them, judging by your comments, at one time. As I say, hindght and revisionism.

I was quite happy when Johnson owned the club when royle had us lifting the cup.

Selling players from under him a year or two later is completely different though.

The key word is context.

You can't say I was happy at one point before anything bad happened and use that as an arguement against me. When I posted those there was no reason to be negative. Same as I'm not calling for Silva to be sacked now, but 12 months time I may have a different opinion .

It isn't helping your argument

But your using it as an stick to beat Kenwright with, the fact that they didn't workout. You yourself say there was no need to be negative AT THE TIME. That is HINDSIGHT. Think your losing this one mate. Let's leave it at that.

Amazing feat that an accountant under an Oligarch can have the club in such dire straits on and off the pitch.

He has 3 sacked managers still on the payroll, wages to turnover is the highest in the top 5 leagues at 78%.

Staggering how Usmanov trusted him with his finances.
Which club is in dire straits off the pitch ??
And oh while we are at it dire straits probably means bottom 4 so also which club is in dire straits on the pitch
Struggling for form
A bit flat
Dies not equal dire straits
