In my own naive way, I don't know why a manufacturer would reject any premier league club. It's not like designing football shirts is an enormously labour intensive or expensive process and you're guaranteed to sell a boat load of them.
If he actually said it, then its a worry...can anybody produce a proper sue-able in "inverted commas" bona fide quote.
