Erm.... yes yes we have the money it’s not BK and his pretend bids.

Guess its hard to get sarcasm across in writing.

Im amazed that random people, albeit some with actual finance experience/backgrounds claim to have more knowledge of our finances than the world class accountant who actually ownes the club.

Yes it may look like we cant spend x or y but im sure Moshiri knows exactly what we can and cant spend so if we are spending £120mill its because we can afford it.

We'll be liquidated by next year if we listen to some know it alls.

They're just after attention even if it causes unnecessary unrest towards to our current ownership.

We have a high wages to turnover ratio, funding needed for a stadium and owe moshiri 250m which he has loaned the club and yet continue to spend more then we bring in from transfers.

Simple question, will this spending affect ffp, there's no point getting into Europe if you can't play in it.

From an overview of you include the stadium the debts are becoming higher then the value of the club

I think Esk’s concerns are valid. If we do spunk 130 million on Zaha and Doucoure I hope the board are thinking about long term sustainability and not just a boom or bust tilt at the CL

Even at £8000 per share the 'book value' is £280 million. Arsenal have a 'book value' of 2.8 Billion. So as Premier League Clubs go there's plenty of equity in there yet.
Debt (and built in profit for Moshiri) could (read probably will) be converted into say, 100,000 shares at between £8000-10000. All ready for the sell on to the next 'greater fool'*

*The Greater Fool Theory simply states that there will always be a “greater fool” in the market who will be ready to pay a price based on higher valuation.

I think this windows spending may have convinced me of Usmanovs involvement.
If/when McCarthy and Onekyoryu(sp) leaves, we are about break even.
Getting rid of wages from the two + Schneiderlin and Niasse etc will save about 230K a month

F.ex Zaha(80) + Tomori(5 loan) + Doucoure or similar (45) brings our total spending to 130 mill. A lot, but not total madness. I would also guess we have slightly decreased our existing wage budget given our top signing is on about 50 (Kean)

So all in all, it seems ambitious without being irresponsible to me, and without proving Usmanov is pulling the strings?

Since 2003 4 clubs have spent over 1bn on players.

City and Chelsea 1.5bn
Utd 1.1bn
Liverpool 1bn
Everton 586m over 300 of that was in the last 3 years alone

We are very much playing catch up.

How does the 586m compare to Aresenal and Totts (miles ahead of us), Wolves/Leicester - competing at same level at moment?
