If we dont spend we wont achieve simples.

This squad is miles off the top 6 - look at the team Klopp inherited at the Kopites and the additions he's added that have taken them to the top (Mane, Salah, VVD, Robertson, TAA, Allison, Fabinho)

We dont roll the dice and spend its 7th-8th at very best with this bunch.

but you want us to buy Wilfred Zaha, Callum Wilson and Danny Ings. Badly average premier league players

Then you’d come on here and moan that we’re underachievers whilst listing another 4 badly average players we should buy. Your short sightedness is part of the problem of the modern day fan, and not looking at the bigger picture.

Yes Klopp has built a good team, but that has come after selling his 2 best players (something you’d cry about) and patience (something you haven’t got). He didn’t go on there and win straight away, he setup how he wanted play and drilled that home before adding quality to the positions that needed it.

We’re 15 (yes 15) games in to Carlo Ancelotti reign, we’ve never had a truly word class manager (for modern day times) at this club. We’ve always had poor managers, managing good players that don’t respect them or poor players being managed by average managers.

It’s night and day with the team now, he’s building the basics and getting the shape; what to do, when to do it and how to react. The absolute fundamentals of his setup. Once he knows who doesn’t cut it they’ll be gone in the blink of an eye, and replaced with players who can (and none will be the gash you want).

So, instead of crying and moaning and looking for everything negative to beat the club with, how about you sit back and enjoy the next couple of years. Because we’re only going on an upwards trajectory

No offence but I've heard that tosh for 25 years now.

We are going nowhere at present - we've gone from regular European finishes under Moyes to now be falling behind outfits like Wolves and Leicester.

Maybe if the fans demanded a bit more we might get more bang for our buck rather than curtain twitching at that lot celebrating yet another trophy.

YEEERRRRRRSSSS

Bill Kenwright came onto the Everton board in 1989.

Since then we have won one FA Cup and got to one cup final since.

We have failed to finish above 4th in Premier League.

We have had 3 failed stadium moves.

He’s admitted he doesn’t know how to run a football club, why is he still here?

We have the best manager in world football and he's only managed us for 15 games.

If you think the current squad and the current mentality about the place is good enough to win trophies/ qualify for the CL you are naive - I have some magic beans if you're interested £500 per bean.

Right, so if you and I can see that do you not think Carlo Ancelotti can? And that maybe he has a plan to do something about it?

If we had signed Andy Robertson 90% of our fans would moan about it.

Say what you like about him but klopp has signed players that fit perfectly into the way he wants to play, and improved every player he has inherited or signed.

Pretty much guarantee that virtually every single player in Liverpool's starting 11 would look a worse player in any other team if sold.

If Ancelotti thinks a so far failed 22 year old right back from west brom that costs 1.2 million suits the way he wants to play over a 40 million rated Dutch international right back then we have to back him and not all whinge about it.

I agree im fully behind the manager but the board need to back him to the hilt as the current rabble are nowhere near good enough.

Do you not think the appointment of CA would contradict your assertion about the mentality about the place.
Would you not think the money spent in the last four years spells ambition , even though a lot of it was wasted ?
Would you not think the owner hiring and firing managers , each costing a fortune, spells ambition, even if it took him long enough to learn that if you want a quality team then first employ a quality manager.

I think that CA believes that the foundation stones of a very good team are already in place.

When the owner of the club talks of "expected losses" that automatically says the club are happy to know their place.

Has to be a big mentality shift at the club from top to bottom otherwise we'll keep making the same mistakes, bottling opportunities, losing derbies etc.
