If you’re trying to downplay the involvement of a billionaire benefactor then perhaps going to lower profile institutions is the way to do it.

For example I would have preferred us to BUY Lukaku and Stones that summer rather than SELL them to buy Keane and Pickford.

there’ll be players sold this summer and players bought. When we buy players then sell others everyone seems happy. When we sell players then buy others people get angry and start saying ‘we’re sell to buy’, it’s bizarre.

Then they are gonna be proper gutted that that everyone knows the score around your "benefactor" and they are gonna be proper gutted that the loan provider is public knowledge on here lol
