Remember when we signed Ancelotti and everybody loved Farhad finally? Didn’t take much for people to flip did it? Ungrateful arseholes.

Ungrateful? This isn’t City with their thank you to Sheikh Mansour, he’s here for his own reasons and because he wants to take advantage of what the history of this club means. We do not owe him any gratitude. He owes it the other way only.

Problem is our recent identity is plucky over achievers. If anything the new regime hasn’t gone far enough in clearing the decks and nostalgia that weighs around the clubs neck.
I bet the Man City of this era bear no resemblance to the outfit that was promoted to Prem in 2002 or whenever it was.
That wasn't our identity, that was what other clubs & the wider media identified us as (as a way to denigrate us).

Between our last League Title & up to Walter Smith our identity was one of the original Big Clubs with a strong local flavour, just going through a dry under-achieving period. Under Moyes we were consistently Best-of-the-Rest, which while not sounding too glamorous was a pretty good achievement considering back then the Top 4 were cast in stone. We had the odd decent European Run, and a handful of memorable players which nowadays even leave us a little nostalgic (Cahill, Arteta etc). So we kept within touching distance of that original identity of under-achievers (not over-achievers at all).

Now...under Mosh...we're just another club which flashes money and goes through players/managers without any of them sticking...without any of them developing into proper fan favourites. Favourites we can get nostalgic about in decades to come.

Roberto 2013/14 was great, a step in the right direction. Unfortunately he tactically went up his own arse, and then Mosh flashed his wad and all we've had since is an obscene turnaround of people coming & going. Not inspiring stuff to follow, quite frankly.

Seriously?! Why do you not think he's owed any gratitude but you are owed gratitude from him? What have you done for him? He's put a lot more money into Everton than you or I have. He didn't have to, you didn't ask him yes, but he did. I think he's trying to deliver a lot. New stadium on the way too. We're lucky to have him imo compared to some of the other rats around.

“A link at the club”

LOL. It’s been in the paper for the past 24hrs ffs.
Well I was told by someone at the club. I get morsels of information occasionally, but generally they say very little because of their role.

All I’m doing is passing on part of a conversation which I thought was pertinent.

Focussing on the wrong people here.

Gutted, but lets be realistic here, we could have finished 4th and Ancelotti would still have said yes. Simply put, you don't say "no" to the biggest team in the world.

I just wish he and Ancelotti could have communicated more since Zidane's resignation (or murmurs) to see where CA head was at, so we're not 10 weeks off the start of the season, with no manager or signings.
How do you know he didn't.
About the same time Nuno resigned Ancelotti's daughter was sneaking around on social media saying goodbye to all her gym buddies and such.
It's more than probable that the home Invasion / burglary thing helped matters along too.
Pressure at home.
A quick call to your agent to keep his ears open...
The stars line up and it's Viva España.

It will all come out in the end - sometimes in dribs and drabs, but it mostly always does.

It's done - Over
Move On.
