If this is true
Then he may as well just do an Ashley and give up on the club because that's the message that hiring Nuno "won nothing and had one good season in the Prem with Wolves when everybody was gash" Santos sends
I really want Brands to do the driving on this one, and I think he will. His new contract would have been based on him calling the shots, building a team/squad, youth development, not buying 'success'. I think this had a lot to do with CA leaving tbh, pure conjecture I know. The stories about 50m transfer pot etc will be based on the idea there are players Brands thinks are ready for PL. And CA didn't.I hope sky are talking bollocks when they say moshiri has been impressed by Nuno at wolves. He has been handed players by Mendes and couldn't get results. Moshiri really needs to keep quite and let brands do his job.
No we weren’t. We were pathetic. Tolerated. The meddler doesn’t have clue.

I really don’t have a lot of confidence in Brands. By now there should be a real shape to the team and play, and I simply don’t see it. I don’t see a pipeline of young great talent being recruited. But as for buying success it’s simple. We have to. Everyone who is successful has.I really want Brands to do the driving on this one, and I think he will. He's better than Silva to be fair, if we're happy with mid table scraps and having little runs where we look like we'll get into Europe then he's our man but I'd like to think Mosh wants more than this so he's really the wrong directionWould be Silva all over again this appointment. Just one big meh and then the ‘well let’s give him a chance’ and then 18 months down the line he gets the chop.
Problem is our recent identity is plucky over achievers. If anything the new regime hasn’t gone far enough in clearing the decks and nostalgia that weighs around the clubs neck.Been something off about the Moshiri era ever since it began. Just never sat right with me, feels like we lost some sense of identity...and all we got to show for it is instability, boring football and zero achievements.
its true, I sometimes wonder if CIty, whose history was far more inconsistent than us down the years benefited in the way that fans had very little memory wise to cling to.Problem is our recent identity is plucky over achievers. I bet the Man City of this era bear no resemblance to the outfit that was promoted to Prem in 2002 or whenever it was.
And his reply to that is to hire an incredibly average manager? Actually don't know what's going on through his head if Nuno does come to Everton.Apparently he wasn’t happy with the way the season went at all.
