You have a point on the first of these criteria, as he does appear to have meddled in managerial appointments. But going for Koeman and Ancelotti the way he did, balls out, was also impressive, as he wouldn't be deterred. The question mark on both those guys is their commitment, but you wouldn't find fault with Moshiri if Carlo had been true to his word and persevered with us.

Crucially, you fail to mention the financial support. Given that football clubs are money pits, surely Moshiri's most positive contribution has been the financial one? Basically, he has bankrolled manager after manager, indulging their player targets, and also provided solid support to drive through on the stadium plans. For the financial element alone he deserves massive plaudits.

I failed to mention it because Whatever sums of money he has spent have been cancelled out by virtue of its complete ineffectiveness

It is a balance of skill and budget. The 'best managers tend to have both. If he signs it remains to be seen what he can do. They are all a gamble. Would not be my first choice but he has potential. More concerned with having a manager in place before the trading starts.

I think you are right on that, this whole manager search has been a righht cock up. Mind Spurs and CP have not been much better.
