Because Nuno isn't a good manager, he's not quite terrible either, he's just bang average bordering on below average
Perhaps boring is what we need, I really think we need to take a step back and re group, Ancelotti never really pushed us forward. Think back Moyes was a boring manager but on a low budget he pushed us on. I’d rather have a more exciting manager than Nuno but he does seem sensible and has got a good record of getting decent players for decent fees, who knows he might even get a few over from wolves Jimenez please.

I failed to mention it because Whatever sums of money he has spent have been cancelled out by virtue of its complete ineffectiveness
Yeah, of course you did!!!

I'm detecting an agenda; you give no credit to Moshiri for anything. It's always easier in life to chuck stones from the sidelines and be the edgy critic than actually to step out and try to accomplish something worthwhile. I gave you some credit for your (harsh, but fair) observations on his meddling and the quality of many decisions. But the fact you won't even give the man credit for the massive, unhesitating financial support he's given is really small-minded and churlish. Do you boo our players, too?

I think you are right on that, this whole manager search has been a righht cock up. Mind Spurs and CP have not been much better.
How has it been a right cock-up? You're moaning for the sake of it.

Ancelotti walked out unexpectedly. Since then the club has not issued any statements on whom they're interviewing, or anything. I think that's professional. We know they're looking for a new manager, but everything else is press speculation, or gossip from self-proclaimed ITKs. Please enlighten me on what, specifically, has been a cock-up by the club, here.

How is the money spent relevant when we are probably worse off than we were in spending very little under Kenwright? You can’t give someone credit for failed actions. You judge the effect of those actions first and then make a judgement on success or failure.

I see where you're coming from, but if you were a manager, would you rather join a club backed by someone like Moshiri, or a tight-arse like Mike Ashley?

Directors in any business have to back their managers and allow them to manage. Moshiri does this. I agree with you lots of the management and player selections have been poor with hindsight, but that's not all on him. I think he's taking the long term view of providing the funding to make the club successful, and has taken the hit when things go wrong.

Aston Villa under Randy Lerner?
Spurs with the Gareth Bale money. Man City when the Thais took over, then again when the Arabs took them out. The redshite on numerous occasions have had mega splurges. O'Leary's 'my young lads' Leeds with Ridsdale as chairman.... that's straight off the bat. Thetre are more examples of mismanagement and wastefulness than getting it right in football. God, look at Real Madrid and Barca!!!

We are still a mess of a club and this proves it. Too many competing visions of the club. Whoever is appointed until we are professional from top to bottom, appoint world class operators to the board we will continue to fail.
