Outside of City/Chelsea and to a lesser extent Leicester most clubs have owners I wouldn't necessarily swap for Mosh.

He's made mistakes but he's at least put his dough where his mouth is and getting us a boss new stadium.

Getting hoodwinked by Kenwright into keeping him on has been his ultimate downfall.

This is in the top 5 worst statements from you I’ve seen on this forum.

So who would you honestly swap him with?

We get it Michael you hate Farhads guts but lets not pretend Joel Glazer or Stan Kroenke would have us in a good position. They never put their hand in their pockets and give the managers a small portion of what their cash cows bring in from the hordes of worldwide gloryhunters.

If Walsh and Brands didnt spunk £450 million up the wall we would all be singing the blokes praises sat in the top 6.

I would swap him for any of the 19 owners that aren’t running their clubs into the ground actually yes.

Let’s be honest you seem to have the mentality of a 7 year old when it comes to football and think that lashing ungodly amounts of money around equals good ownership of a football club. He employed Brands and Walsh, and gave Brands a new deal, so you can’t put the blame on them without simultaneously blaming Moshiri by default.

Turn the clock back 5 years; he takes over, puts proper football people on the board and the club implements a sound footballing structure in place.

We could have spent half that amount and been in a well better situation. But he thought he could just throw cash at it and it would resolve itself. Not how footy works; especially when you go from Martinez to Koeman to Fat Sam to Silva to Ancelotti to Rafata

there’s no continuity hence there’s no plan. Poor leadership from the top

He isnt running us into the ground though.

He's building us a £500 million top class stadium

Yes we're limited to spend but thats down to the bent rules by UEFA & PL - If FFP wasn't a thing no doubt Mosh Man would chuck another £450 million to try get us up there. You cant blame the owner for a football rule thats inherently corrupt and bias to the "big" clubs.

Would rather someone who at least tries than some billionaire hedge fund Yank who is happy to invest the bare minimum just to one day sell at a profit.

Be careful what some wish for when we could have ended up with those dodgy lot who were sniffing around Swansea before Moshiri came in.

City
Chelsea
Leeds
Villa
Leicester
Brighton
Brentford
Wolves
Spurs
Arguablly liverpool

All of these owners have, over various timeframes, increased the fortunes of thier clubs

Compare to Mosh, under whom we've spent 500m and gone from Europa hopefuls to top half battlers

The “bent rules” apply to everyone, they’re not set up to stop Everton spending money?? We’re the only club in the entire league in breach of the rules. You have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about, you are the modern football Super League fan in a nutshell.

Dont disagree with that - but my point remains outside of the Sheikh and Roman A (both who benefitted from spending big before FFP was a thing before lifting the ladder up on us who followed) there aint many owners in the PL outside of Leicester's who I am jealous of.

Moshiri isn't running the club into the ground though is he? Brand new stadium being built, club is debt free and money we could only have dreamt of has been made available for the manager. Moshiri himself has done an excellent job business wise for the club.

It's the people who have been in charge of the football side that is running the club into the ground. You can blame him for hiring them but the fact is , if Walsh and koeman build a squad with all that money spent, the club would be challenging for honours now. If brands actually had a recruitment plan, we wouldn't be left with such a poor squad after 3 years of his watch.

Point is, kenwright had us selling players to survive, moshiri has delivered big time. Don't confuse business with football because they are not mutually exclusive, a few better signings and our situation would be completely different.

So would you swap Moshiri for Southamptons owners tomorrow?

They barely spend a penny and sell anyone half decent within a season but hey their accounts are boss if only they had owners who wanted to make a go of it...

Yeah he is running the club into the ground. He’s employed every single person you’re talking about on the “football side” and is actually rewarding some of them with new deals for their failure. Brands could’ve been let go when his contract expired this summer, he was given a new deal, how do you qualify that?

As a business we are utterly crippled so I don’t know what your last paragraph is supposed to mean.

And anytime within the five years moshiri should have realised it's not working and even now he is making the same mistakes and I'm sure if he could spend another 500 mill he would spunk that as well

He's to blame for not sweeping clean the day he took over.
And he's compounded that serious lack of judgment, or gonads, by keeping them in situ ever since.
And he further compounds it with every day that goes by without making sweeping changes to the hierarchy and executive management.
