I doubt even Moshiri is that stupid.I’ve just had the same lightbulb moment.
Moshiri went out on a limb and appointed the FSW when all around told him not to.
Moshiri would look like a [Poor language removed] if he sacked the FSW.
Instead he engineers a situation whereby his meddling in playing staff and transfers leads the FSW to quit.
Easy way out for our owner without losing too much face.
I suspect the problem is he and his pal have been getting too involved in football matters from the outset.Seems to be getting a lot more involved in the football matters recently. Badly I’m afraid.
Have to credit his financial commitment to the club since he’s been here but his decision making regarding footballing matters has been bonkers. The impacts of those bad decisions are now all too keenly felt.It really continues to amaze me that 48 members of GOT are pleased with the job Moshiri is doing.
I’m afraid that when he finally sells up, we will find that the money has actually to be paid back to him.Have to credit his financial commitment to the club since he’s been here but his decision making regarding footballing matters has been bonkers. 100% Daniel Snyder. Posted this earlier in the threadFellow Americans: which bad owner is he? Feels a bit Daniel Snyder to me.
Reminds me so much of the Washington Redskins owner, Daniel Snyder.
Spent years blowing huge money on players with questionable attitudes or already past it, chasing big-name coaches that were behind the times, meddling in recruitment decisions, and heading up a thoroughly dysfunctional organization.
A cold aloofness to both as well
Yup, I can. Someone on Twitter said "everton interested in El Ghazi" now we have a 23-page thread of people going mental and losing their shyte over a possible 5-month loan rumour.
Hope that helps.
I'm 66 years old was born an Evertonian all my family are Evertonians so I have seen the good and the bad times but I have never been as concerned as I am now about our future with this guy in charge. Peter Johnson was just an overated spiv compared to this gangster.I’m afraid that when he finally sells up, we will find that the money has actually to be paid back to him.
