I’ve just had the same lightbulb moment.

Moshiri went out on a limb and appointed the FSW when all around told him not to.

Moshiri would look like a [Poor language removed] if he sacked the FSW.

Instead he engineers a situation whereby his meddling in playing staff and transfers leads the FSW to quit.

Easy way out for our owner without losing too much face.

I doubt even Moshiri is that stupid.

I suspect the problem is he and his pal have been getting too involved in football matters from the outset.
It’s perhaps fortunate Joorabchian displays little interest in stadium construction.

Have to credit his financial commitment to the club since he’s been here but his decision making regarding footballing matters has been bonkers. The impacts of those bad decisions are now all too keenly felt.

Reminds me so much of the Washington Redskins owner, Daniel Snyder.
Spent years blowing huge money on players with questionable attitudes or already past it, chasing big-name coaches that were behind the times, meddling in recruitment decisions, and heading up a thoroughly dysfunctional organization.

I'm 66 years old was born an Evertonian all my family are Evertonians so I have seen the good and the bad times but I have never been as concerned as I am now about our future with this guy in charge. Peter Johnson was just an overated spiv compared to this gangster.
