I must say also that The Mush's knowledge of Everton's programme history is impressive. An encyclopaedic knowledge of the minutia of our tradition of pioneering football innovation.

Hats off.

lol cute

blatantly just got his assistant to look up some cool everton facts on the internet and wedge them into his statement.

So you don't admit it would be nice to hear what some of his plans are for the club?, hell we haven't even had an official statement and what or whose shares he has purchased, with Robert Earl still listed as a director on the everton website, hey look if people think its cool to hear nothing etc then fair enough, but personally I would like at least some formal article on the website

As expected a generic statement that says very little...sensibly so.
I think there is probably an awful lot going on in the background already.
There must be rooms full of reports relating to the upgrade of Goodison or the building of a new stadium. Moshiri is the White Knight that Bill Kenwright wanted and I expect that Moshiri will rely heavily on the knowledge that Bill Kenwright has about the club.

I don't see another report changing anything much and I think it is likey that Moshiri has people looking over what already has been done.
I think the stadium issue may move quickly now...relatively speaking.
We know the City Council are in favour of a new ground and a site has been provided. That is the starting point.

I expect that a man like Moshiri will have extensive contacts with others of a similar wealth. I think that now we are seen to have a wealthy owner with the possibility of other wealthy people getting involved that new sites may be offered to Everton by private owners that previously would not deal with Bill Kenwright because of his lack of wealth(at that level).
Peel Holdings have often been mentioned here by some and dismissed by others, but just to use them as an example. If a new football ground would fit into their overall development plan for the land they own , if a new football ground could help kickstart a project which it appears has not taken off particularly well. They are now talking with a man that can pump a lot of money into a new ground, but maybe a man that could also see a potential in getting involved in the bigger project and bringing the wealth of other welthy people with him.

This new owner has possibly opened doors that were previously closed to us, but this will take time... and will not fit into the timescale of fans on a ootball charroom.

I think you need to go to a shed, a long and dark shed.

Imagine he didn't mention him...the speculation...

Your losing this battle I am afraid.

You must be crestfallen. Never mind. Maybe next season?

Anyway, the thread is about The Mush and his takeover, so I'll leave it at that. ;)

Lads in the know, am looking at @hibbo'sclass and @The Esk. out of interest there is all these reports of him looking to increase his shareholding to become Major shareholder. Am presuming Woods isn't really looking to move on (massive assumption on my half) - do we think this will be done via the other shareholders, or the introduction of new shares?

WHP looks pie in the shy to me, and has so from the get go. There's too many obstacle to it. If there's a new stadium it has to be in a commercial area rather then parkland close to residential areas. Rightly so, too. Peel Holdings and the docks have always looked the best option to me.

No idea what or who companies house is or what relevance it has to Everton but I'm pretty sure that is the 3 that will be directors.

Its where you have to list the directors, charges documents etc for every company to trade (i think thats right).

When a director joins or resigns it has to be registered with Companies House - thats for any business, including EFC

If it's for any business in UK is it possible they might not have dealt with the paperwork yet considering there are thousands of businesses with directors in the UK

I am not in the know, but I would imagine that the reports stating that agreements are in place refer mainly to BK and JW.
I do wonder if deals have been struck with other substantial shareholders such as Estate of PG, Grantchester,Abercromby,Cliff Finch, Holland et al.
It wouldn't surprise me if JW kept a few shares as his family have a long history with the club, Grantchester may retain some for a similar reason.
This is purely speculation on my part I hasten to add.
