I honestly think he's no longer bothered or able to fund the club and its why we're skint.

He's realised the PL isn't easy and the timing of sanctions has contributed to it.

In a perverse way he may also feel that he's up against it with the PL and his ability to bankroll a club.

I suspect he gets his money back, we then borrow upwards of 350m for stadium.

My guess would be he can't fund the club to the extent required to avoid harming it's future sell on value. But he won't want that out there which might explain his recent reassurance of commitment - the club sale equivalent of 'not for sale at any price'. We know Moshiris finances were inextricably linked to Usmanov's in many ways - good chance Uzzy will have known that war was coming about a year ago and will have been hoarding money in places far less visible than Everton Football Club ever since.

What might save us, is a lot of these yanks may not be able to afford Moshiris fees and the stadium costs.

Only a select few will be happy to take both those on board.

I'd imagine a vulture type fund would offer Moshiri 1 pound and say it will take the liabitlies on.

I dont see how we're not saddled with a debt unfortunately.

Lots of clubs have debt tho. Main thing is getting football operations correct and Moshiri is not the man for that role.

Theres no real upside to saddle us with debt from an investor. That sort of investor is looking for a profitable business, with a strong balance sheet, we are neither.

We also have stadium debt, existing debt etc. It wouldnt make any sense.

Maybe I just don't see a sovereign wealth fund coming in.
The dream is Cahill and Qatar as you say.

I just want a team to be fond of!

This could drag on, it is obvious that he has lost his enthusiasm for the club and wants out, but the price is going to put investors off, meanwhile we struggle to survive again
