If the other option is these yanks then anyone who loves the club wants this
As someone who loves this club, i'm not sure Moshiri staying on as owner is a good thing, if he hasn't learned from his alarming amount of mistakes.

Wherever the owner is from is irrelevant as such, provided they can run the club in a professional and competent manner.

We have seen zero signs or evidence of this, under the current ownership. After all this guy nearly relegated this club, despite investing a vast fortune into it.

What I can say and will is that toom many were far too willing to criticise Moshiri, on the whole he has been good for the club and this should be recognised. There have been problems over managerial appointments, they have not been good enough to take the club forward.

But look at where our club might have been now if not for Moshiri. We would be stuck at a football ground that was rotting away, a board with no money to invest, any offers to speculate what state we would be in ?

Under Kenwright we didn't have a pot to piss in. We didn't even have two pennies to rub together!

I think Everton under Moshiri though are proof, that spending money recklessly can also potentially ruin a football club.

If Moshiri does continue on as our owner, then i hope he's learned from his mistakes, because he sure has made a lot of them.

How’s this mate?

He’s kept the same inept board in play for 6 years; we haven’t grown our commercial sector; our youth development is a mess; he’s allowed outside agents to influence the day to day football operations; he’s overseen the the near club destroying financial mis-management; he’s sacked managers with no idea on who he wants to replace them with; his communication with the fans was done via Jim White for 5 years.

But we’ve got a stadium on the docks, that we still don’t know how it’s being funded.

We’ve gone from fairly regular European qualification to near relegation and we can spend about the same amount of money as if we were skint because of the money he’s thrown up the wall?

Moshiri has been a disaster. Wasted millions, interfered constantly without the first clue about football and retained the worst but also one of the most expensive boards in football. We were one lunatic chaining himself to the goalpost from going down. And Kenwright brought him in after spending 18 months getting to know him and assuring us all he was great for the club. If we would still have been in a ground rotting away, it would have been Kenwright’s fault as well. The whole lot just needs sweeping out. If anything is rotting, it’s the entire club under Moshiri and Kenwright. Just get them both gone.

Later Farhad, you tit.

So, if Matt law's report to be believed - he wasn't paying for the stadium and he's getting every penny back that people say he's put in from his own pocket.
