No they don't, do they give you a trophy for avoiding relegation?
I dont recall claiming that was good bruh.

The fact is, this club hasnt competed since roughly 1990, thats almost 32 years, Moshiri has been here 6.

Its his job to make us compete, hes failed, but no more so than the man who clings on to power like the smell of rotten eggs at this football club.

Moshiri OUT or IN, it really doesnt matter at this point.

But I think it matters a lot, we both know, well we all should know, he has then a back seat now, you only have to.look at the business done in 2022 to see he had no.part in it.
We need a owner who is involved, with ambition, not someone waiting around for the stadium to be finished, the longer we stand still the harder it will be to catch up.
We're years away from top 8 now.

What makes you think we would get better?
Well noting comes with a guarantee, don't forget many thought, including myself, we would get better once Kenwright sold up, but It didn't happen.
But Moshiri is finished, the well has run dry, and his main.partner in crime Usmanov won't ge digging deep in his pockets again for us, no chance, ye is more likely to be calling in his debts

He's coughed up a lot of dough tbf and on the occasions he got more involved it was too involved. Benitez was him pulling rank but at least he undid his mistake before it was too late and seemingly has stepped back a bit now

Maybe it has, but we still had a very good window, the stadium is rising and the feel good factor is back. All happening under his ownership

See its not all doom and gloom I know, the stadium is impressive, but stability is far more important, and top flight status.
That was a close shave and I for one blame Moshiri for hiring Benitez for that one but as I said, he took responsibility, paid the price from his pocket and pride by undoing that mistake before it was too late. Nobody can tell me he didn't think he was doing the right thing hiring that arrogant dinosaur, probably suffering from the same trauma as the rest of us re Carlo and thought 'this guy has won stuff, is experienced and lives locally so won't run away'
We won't be near relegation this season imo

But see I still think the reason he went for Rafael was because nobody else wanted it. It wasn't an attract job, poor squad, no budget, yes it paid well but any in demand manager could do better elsewhere, he hired him because he had little choice.
This season, despite the bad start, I'm confident we can stay safe, 12th, 10th something like that.
