I think Moshiri has learned the hard way that premiership football is rigged in favour of reinforcing the status of the so called elite 'sky clubs.' It's a good thing to see Arsenal and Newcastle bucking this trend for now at least.

Moshiri thought he could simply throw money at us until we became successful again. What he did not navigate through was the agent deception of providing faux world class players to us at ridiculous prices. He was deceived time and time again and this perpetuated a slow decline in our fortunes. Massive contracts with no resale value occurred season after season. Most of these players were frauds. Moshiri fell for it. He then got strangulated by the corrupt FFP rules which prevent most clubs from progressing. I think when he realised the authorities were checking on his every purchase he became disillusioned and started to lose interest. You simply don't see him anymore. I think his main concern now is selling Everton at a profit. He knows this is only possible if we stay in the top flight and have the new stadium up and running.

The other matter is we really don't know how his relationship with Usmanov influences our clubs running. For all we know the sanctions on Usmanov may have affected Moshiris ability to spend money!
He has washed his hands of the club now to the extent that he's not even motivated to fire a failing manager, and bring a new one in. Once upon a time he was ruthless enough to ensure our Premier League status by getting rid of managers, now it doesnt seem like he's bothered enough to even care about that.

This is actually a really good point, no way would he of let things slip this far 2 years ago, your spot on.

It's like s Christmas present as a kid your obsessed with for months, and then never touch again

1 Ronald Koeman

2 Sam Allardyce

3 Marco Silva

4 Rafael Benitez

5 Frank Lampard as well sadly.

6 Steve Walsh

7 Marcel Brands

8 Kevin Thelwell

9 Not getting rid of Kenwright.

10 Spending a vast fortune to make us even worse.

11 Starting construction on a stadium without the full funding secured.

There's probably more that can be added to that list as well. We thought Moshiri was our saviour, but boy were we wrong.

How can one man get as many things wrong as this fella? No wonder Arsenal didn't allow him any input into their footballing decisions.
It's a fairly damning list mate.

Honestly think Usmanov was getting deeper involved with the club and blue bill and a few others would have gone. Not his our fault Russia went to war but we’re getting penalised whilst a murdering regime is ploughing 10’s of millions into Newcastle?
Agree. I think that was always the plan. We are cursed when you think about it. So many clubs with dodgy investment yet we choose the one that gets derailed by an unexpected war.

He just increased his shareholdings, he didn’t gift us money.

He wants the stadium to massively increase his ROI. He won’t care how that is paid for or passed on to a new owner/investor and it’ll need to be paid back one way or another

He did he paid all our outstanding debts off we had with certain dodgy company's that where still outstanding prior to him coming, wasn't Kenwright's doing,, check over compaines house and it will show you him settling all the debts as soon as he brought most of his shares in 2016 before that we was in terrible debt
