Really glad that he seems to take investing and progressing the academy seriously - for me developing local lads is not only a practical idea for finding good players but a huge part of what makes us the club we are with community links.http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...ws/everton-academy-stadium-set-built-11055799
We're building a mini-stadium for the academy teams. I assume this is one of the things Martinez meant when he said the new investment will help move along a lot of projects that have been waiting behind the scenes.
We've got a 50 year lease on it (47 yrs remaining)Think as we have discussed this being on the agenda for Moshiri to potentially look at, the recent investment into FF with the plans for the academy stadium and the players dorms, could this point to anything moving on the ownership of it?
Seems a little bit mental putting investment into it if you don't own it!
Really, you must be in the Top Balcony or something them ?
I sometimes lose the whole network inside Goodison and have to reboot as soon as I get outside !
If we stay at Goodison I'm hoping Moshiri's contacts in the mobile world will sort this out.
Looks like they were made a week ago by them dates....blimey things moving very quickly. It's official then
One knob in and one knob outIt's official then
Who exactly should we be listening to, or more correctly who should Moshiri be listening to ?People need to stop assuming just because someone is a billionaire they'll automatically know to make the right moves and they are always surrounded by smart people.
Many sports teams are owned by billionaires; only one team wins at the end of the year. So loads of failing billionaires in sports. A billionaire hired David Moyes and Woodward. Combine the NFL and all the other leagues where billionaires compete and you have a true smorgasbord of utter failure and incompetence by billionaires. Although it depends on your definition of success of course.
The current Arsenal board for instance have made a lot of money but none of their billions in knowledge have helped them win the league.
It's entirely possible he could be fooled by Elstone for two years. I'm not saying Elstone would cripple our ability to compete but I have zero confidence he will help. I believe he is well below average replacement level.
Moshiri is clearly listening to BK too much which is worrying. This one event in isolation is not the end of the world but it's worrying to me anyway.
Who exactly should we be listening to, or more correctly who should Moshiri be listening to ?
Maybe he should come on GOT , there seems to be plenty who could point him in the right direction.
Maybe they could also tell him how they would further increase his wealth.
I am not trying to be smart, but it amazes me that people know what he is doing wrong although they don't know what he is doing.
