What was interesting was he said he could fund said gap himself but he wants to bring expertise and investment to the club. Earlier on in the video he mentioned the importance of the ground in helping with FFP.

Sounds to me like the stadium is being used as a carrot on a stick to attract investors rather than a necessity.

Peeps underestimate the dough he/Usmanov wield - even with sanctions a lot of that cash will be hidden away its a murky world.
