You would have to be utterly certifiable to invest money in a minority stake in this club at this time.

No rational actor would trust their cash to a club run by clowns, at a time when relegation is a real possibility, in a league stacked with petro-cash to the extent there is no possibility of any glory.

The big news there is the confirmation of a stadium funding gap.
Not really as he said he can cover the gap in funding himself, but why not try and get the investment for it? It will be via a naming rights deal, makes sense to me.

It all came down to recruitment.

That's where it went horribly wrong.

Though we like to laugh on here, he's not an idiot and he will of course realise that.

At the end of the day, he's admitted some things and shown his position.

He's said he's working on turning around relegation by helping in January.

All we can do is see what happens now.
Really?

What was interesting was he said he could fund said gap himself but he wants to bring expertise and investment to the club. Earlier on in the video he mentioned the importance of the ground in helping with FFP.

Sounds to me like the stadium is being used as a carrot on a stick to attract investors rather than a necessity.

Peeps underestimate the dough he/Usmanov wield - even with sanctions a lot of that cash will be hidden away its a murky world.

the cash is no good hidden away when we’re on the brink of going down

then he’s investment is worse off
