You could really tell he looked lost without Usmanov. Usmanov was the brains behind it, atleast he knew what he was doing in regards to football.

Makes sense actually, because he was under Usmanov's wing at Arsenal, when both we're there.

It does.

This is timed for maximum impact.

They know what a mess we're in and they want to create a crisis.

The Guardian's whole existence now revolves around the Ukraine conflict. They have gone after Usmanov and also continue their attacks on Moshiri with pieces like this.

Moshiri will now deny the deviation away from what he said last summer: that he's looking for stadium investment.

Ignore that Guardian piece...it's BS.

How do you know Usmanov has a better understanding of Football?? Is that based on fact or is that just speculation?

It all came down to recruitment.

That's where it went horribly wrong.

Though we like to laugh on here, he's not an idiot and he will of course realise that.

At the end of the day, he's admitted some things and shown his position.

He's said he's working on turning around relegation by helping in January.

All we can do is see what happens now.
Spot on: the recruitment of those on the board and in key roles; the requirement of managers; the requirement of players over the years by the former.

Each error has fuelled the fire by increasing the impact of the other failures, such as the wrong DoFs and in some cases these people being undermined.

You only have to see how much money we've spent on dross over the years, and this stems back to the people in the hierarchy buying terribly.

You would have to be utterly certifiable to invest money in a minority stake in this club at this time.

No rational actor would trust their cash to a club run by clowns, at a time when relegation is a real possibility, in a league stacked with petro-cash to the extent there is no possibility of any glory.

The big news there is the confirmation of a stadium funding gap.

Except none of them had any power at Arsenal. Usmanov didn't even have a seat on the board.
