Fans hate on Jazzy and the FAB but what else do they really expect him to be able to say ?

If he followed the tactic of some of the more unhinged element that get on here for example do you believe the club would have any dialogue with him if he was shouting "SACK DER BOARD LAD"

He's obviously limited in what he can/can't say I think he gets unfair stick.

I don't expect him to do anything because it's a pointless lip service exercise

Oh and yes if I was given an opportunity to have dialogue with the owner I'd sit there and go "SACK DER BOARD LAD" because I'm 15 years old.

….with respect to Jazz, it’s not an ‘interview‘ when you read a set of pre-arranged questions, even if they were all from fans.

An interviewer asks follow up questions based on the response, otherwise the interviewee finds it easy to furnish stock answers that get us nowhere near the truth.

Moshiri says the DoF is responsible for transfers, so is Thelwell accountable for bringing in Maupay and McNeill who don’t meet the teams requirements and have done nothing to move the team forward? Why didn’t we bring players in when they were needed at the start of the window?

What role does Kenwright play in the acquisition of players & do you deal with agents yourself?

Who appointed Benitez? Did Benitez refuse to work with Brands? If the DoF is responsible for transfers, who brought Rondon to the club?

What is our FFP situation & how have we got in this mess with a finance expert on the Board?
This.

All looked very scripted to me and was a complete load of tick boxing by the club.

Exactly, didn't ask any pertinent questions, so what was the point of the whole exercise. Just shouldn't have agreed to do it in this format.

The club didn’t have to do it.

He committed to building the stadium, even admitting he could do it himself

He says a deal is close for bringing in new investors

He gave details about the strategic review and how it’s targeted the medical teams, recruitment and the academy

He’s maintained that his aspiration is to have us amongst the elite again

He backtracked on blaming the fans

Whilst we have no reason to believe anything he says it was actually a lot more than I thought he would say. I thought we’d get a load of PR rubbish with no information but it’s probably the best interview he’s ever done for the club.

It doesn’t change the results on the pitch but I thought it was a decent interview relative to what we’ve had before

More fool you for continuing to fall for this fella’s junk.

You have to remember that he's not going to throw anyone under a bus in these scenarios.

I can't fault him for pumping the money in but even he must see how badly advised he's been (though I wouldn't bet on it).

You'd hope any new investment will be a moment for change. Would you put money into something without a say in the direction of your investment. If it's coming from serious sources you'd hope they have serious questions about the makeup and competencies of the board.

It’s not falling for it, the results speak for themselves whatever he’s done hasn’t worked. It’s no judgement on his overall tenure here

What I’m saying is that people criticising the interview as staged is all well and good but we’ve probably got more information out of this than anything else ever released to the media by Everton

Agree, I would rather have a scripted Moshiri interview than Kenwright pantomime effort with a load of one liner soundbites.

For the first time I can relate that he feels for the club and just as miserable as we are, but there were some unbelievable cringy moment in that interview.

The “Thelwell moment” made me believe his appointment was not Moshiris decision.
