If Moshiri wants rid of Martinez he will be gone, make no mistake about who is the power at the club now.

Bill may try to defend Martinez, but Martinez's results at this club the last 2 seasons have no defence.

I would imagine no rash decision will be made on Martinez until a proper replacement has been identified. I can't stand the man - i think he's a total fraud who is making laughingstock of arguably the finest team of player i have seen in a blue shirt since the 80's. However I want him gone a replaced with a better option, not a panic appointment that will be just as bad.

Good question mate . I'm inclined to believe that yes, he wields sufficient power to remove Martinez should he believe it appropriate to do so.

I thought his non committal look last week when Bill was waxing lyrically about Martinez spoke volumes to be honest.

But but Bill said..

He seems to be an astute man, he will be sounding out opinions from a range of well-informed people and not just relying on Bill gushing away in his lughole.

Also if as we are lead to believe Bill has been talking to him for 18 months, Mr Moshiri will have had plenty of time to form his own opinions on certain things that aren't quite right I suspect!

Indeed. "Hey Bill, the rosey garden here doesn't look like the picture in the brochure"!

Moshiri has got experience of several seasons' involvement in English football, he'll know what's what.

Chris... I just want Moshiri to be refereed to as "The Chairman" in terms of the club and the outside world....I think it,s important.
He's not on the Board of Directors, so can't be referred to as the Chairman.
BK being the chairman rather than Mr Moshiri's appointees (I include Robert Elstone as one) is a bit weird as if there is a split in the voting 2-2, the Chairman has the casting vote according to the article of association 23.1.
Depends on if anything becomes adversarial I suppose.

If Moshiri wanted rid of RM then I think it would happen . I think Bill Kenwright may defend the manager but there would be a bigger picture to be
looked at and being at loggerheads with the new biggest shareholder would not be what he would want.

However, I think that if you looked at how RM has spent the clubs money it has generally been very well invested. If every player he bought was sold now I think there would be a serious surplus.
Robles, Lukaku, Lennon, Cleverley, McCarthy, Besic,Deulofeu, Galloway and Funes Mori would all sell at a profit relative to their cost.
So, Moshiri could feel relatively secure that his money would not be wasted.

I think the manager has next season, or most of it , to impress in the league. A cup win this season would strengthen his hand as well.

I am not sure that replacing the manager is high on the agenda.

You might be right, you might be very wrong. None of us really knows. Wouldn't be surprised if he gave him more time, wouldn't fall off me chair if he send him packing in mind May. Time will tell, of course.

His money will be wasted if RM doesn't use those players properly, or Manage them in a competent way.
