1. The club intimated that the P/S FFP problem was a tax snag on a stadium loan.

2. @The Esk noted that the accounts had a new loan charge of £20m included.

Possibly the Club did not realise that Building Construction Loan fees cannot be set against tax liabities until the stadium is in use. The Club then found itself £20m worse off than expected.

Seems unlikely...

I keep seeing people saying "GET HIM OUT", unless somebody has 1billion pounds to do that its a waste of time.

He tried selling the club, the only people interested were some Yanks who loaned him a few quid and took a load of shares.
You are of course correct on this, he has tried and yes many of us want him but in reality not gonna happen quickly.

But it does need to happen.

He will kill this club and I personally, cant let that go by without at least voicing it, even if on GOT its a bit pointless.

Goodison park
Everton actually has a small fan base abroad as the club has won nothing.
Simple really
The King Power may be newer than Goodison but it's capacity is 7k lower and there's not much more corporate hospitality either. Elland Road is easily as bad as Goodison and Leeds have won even less than us recently. We should be doing better than those two teams commercially.

Won nothing 'recently' you mean?

Leicester i can probably accept have a bigger global fanbase than us due to them having won the Prem recently and a lot of rival clubs fans having a soft spot for them. They will no doubt have a large Thai following.

However, Leeds....absolutely no chance.

We're something like 8th in the league for Social Media following, comfortably above Leeds and just behind Leicester.

Granted we will have a small match day spend per head, It's one of the smallest in the league, but our other commercial income outside of this and the TV money is woeful.

I'm not sure of the numbers but I believe Bramley Moore will likely only put £20-£30m onto our revenue each season at a push. Ignoring the fact the lions share of this will go on financing costs we will still be behind West Ham and a million miles behind the likes of Arsenal and Spurs.

Leicester fans in Thailand are pretty rare. United, Chelsea, the RS and Buriram United are the teams most Thais follow. Even City, for all their success, haven't raised much of an eyebrow.

I'm not sure of the numbers, was just a guess. I know they will have a larger following than us in Thailand and their total social media following is larger than ours.

Moshers has saved us.

You dont realise it yet but BMD will secure our long term future and he is the architect of it.

It probably is time for him to move on with no Usmanov to bankroll us but until someone puts up the money he isn't giving us away for free as much as those tight wad MSP lot seem to be expecting.

He really hasn't fella. We are in deep quagmire due to his scattergun approach.

The funding has dried up al round and that on him and his assertions that he could fund it, even without Usmanov. He is a liar and a fraud, on a par with Kenwright.

he may have sounded a death knell on us.
