He let himself down with stupid decisions. He was responsible, ultimately, for all the appointments, poor recruitment and financial mismanagement of the club. But I don’t doubt he would have rather we had been successful. There’s plenty of other sports washing types who are doing a much better job of running a football club.

We could have very easily been competing every year if we spent the Rom money well and brought in competent managers. He just failed. Where as on the face of it, 777 don’t appear to have the same obstacle to overcome?

Even if he did take the Richarlison and Gordon money, its likely hes taking a massive hit on his investment.

Hes "out of pocket" around 850m so far, at the very least.

Probably got around 500m or so for his shares.
