We knew the rules for years and Moshiri just wanted to buy a midfield. But that’s beside the point. You claim it was the war that means we had no money, but that’s not true and you know it. We were skint and making huge losses before the war.

As did everyone else spending hundreds of millions of pounds every season. Convenient how the rules only started to be enforced when Central Government commenced motion for an independent regulator.

The PL only started enforcing the rules because they felt they had to. Hence why they didnt have a sanction policy in place.

It's not only the fees paid, it's the stupid wages offered and accepted by these very average players.

Same fans from other clubs go on about and certain pundits who don't know anything.

At the end of the day we all entrust the welfare of the club and that includes the finances, to the people that run it. There's your starting point for the purchases a few years ago Rodrigez, Sigurdsson, Bolasie, etc etc.

Secondly, we're a football club, supposed to have been displaying some ambition in the transfer market. With Koeman and Ancelotti. That's what we're here for. No one should start preaching now about spending too much back then. We want the club to show some ambition and to an extent that's what we did. What does anyone want us to do when you have a wealthy owner and for example a manager like Ancelotti? We spend!!

It's the idiots running the club that have overseen all of this. And probably those guilty parties no longer there except Moshiri. He's been as useful as a chocolate fire guard when it's come to accounting. Which is bizarre considering he's meant to be an accountant.
