He would have happily sold us to 777 if it meant he got paid

Never ever forget that
Yup. So while it is a fact that he was the catalyst that has resulted in the building of a new stadium, there is no denying he was largely disastrous for this club in terms of its day-to-day running. To be fair, I understand why he would have sold us to anybody given the losses he has to sustain. But while it's fair to recognise him as the most consequential custodian of the club since John Moores, he will still be recalled - in the short to medium term - as a disaster. The longer term will remember him more for his positive consequence - the stadium which will still be standing - long after memories of his day-to-day management have faded.

Ying and Yang.

I can’t hate him.

He wanted to improve the club. Yes he’s made some horrific blunders, but for a while he did try.

I’d say some of the sfuff he was unlucky with, but specifically the Koeman, Silva and Ancelotti appointments.

Nobody can tell me he didn’t want the best for Everton, particularly after getting Ancelotti in.

He leaves after delivering a new stadium, thus making him a very important part of the clubs history.

I’m not a fanboy, I just can’t hate him.

Yes. But appointing Ancelotti in a way showed the depth of the problem. Because we managed to make the 21st Century's most successful manager look average at best. A generation of failure

I have much more sympathy for him than I do Kenwright. And he does have a legacy.

Moshiri tried and failed. Dangerously. Kenwright didn't even try - and, just as dangerously, surreptitiously refashioned one of the giants of the English game into a plucky, sentimental, charidee. The Smashie and Nicey of football custodianship.

Vinny on Sky, Moshiri: "I truly believe the transaction with TFG is the best outcome for the club".

Er didn't he say the same about 777?

Not slagging Mosh off but it's clear as day that Moshiri is utterly clueless and he just has a playbook that he goes to to quote from.

We all know what he was like when he talked freely. About our Fab 4, and voodoo and every other BS he spoke about. 🤡

Good evening Jim.

Moishiri and his fat friend bought EFC with the best of intentions, he invested loads of cash and built a stadium
that is top-class, iconic and although it has a low capacity will be part of the club's future for decades. When compared
to the previous incumbent he is a star.

He has probably been naive and a poor manager in a business which was new to him but lets not forget he gave his hard-earned
to supposed professionals like Fat Sam who bought Tosun and the chancer from Arsenal. Koeman who spunked money all
over the place, Benitez and Fat Frank who were bad choices. Football is populated by chancers and liars and he had the bad luck
and poor judgement to have run into a quite a lot of them. And what chance did he have when his chief advisor was Billy Liar?

All those years in the background at Arsenal with his mate Usmanov, desperate to be more involved and make a name for themselves. Well they got the chance and he just made an absolute tit of himself instead.

I’ll go further.

He put his money where his mouth was even if he was a bit clueless when it came to football.

His first and biggest mistake was keeping Bill on board.

However, he leaves us with a magnificent stadium on the Mersey skyline and I think history will treat Mr. Moshiri very kindly in the eyes of Evertonians in the decades to come.

All the best, Mosh 👍

I think there's an element of misfortune in there too. Usmanov was clearly the front behind it. I don't believe there's such thing as a billionaire accountant, it doesn't matter how good you are.

The Ukraine-Russia War absolutely crippled us in more ways than one. The investor was done and all costs soared.

Despite that; Keeping of Kenwright, repeatedly doing interviews with Jim
White, jumping in bed with Joorabchian, buying players behind DOF back.

Rudderlessly plunging us into the abyss, will never be forgotten.

But the flags were there, there's a reason Arsenal stopped Usmanov being more prominent and Kenwright jumped at it.

It's all done now. We've got a stadium. We've got new owners, now it's time for stability and getting back to where we need to be.
