He'd screwed things up before the war started though, Summer 21 we spent £1.7m, January 22 we sold a seasoned international to replace him with two young players who we took a big punt on developing into good players. The war started February 2022.

But part of the reason we were in such a dire position now is because we had to factor in interest and all others from Stadium costs rising £250m more than initially budgetted.

His signings were short sighted. We acted as if we were already title contending signing players at their "peak", rather than sustainably growing.

FFP started becoming a factor around the time we'd wooed Ancelotti, and subsequently spend £150m to keep him happy.

He's incompetent, i think his heart was there, but actions wete atrocious and it ultimately has set us back on the pitch 10 years.

Gambled on short term success, and it backfired. The legacy is two parts, the nearly sending us under and the stadium.

Should we buck our trajectory; people will forget the on the pitch stuff. People can't forget the stadium though

I won’t ever forget him trying for 12 months to force a sale through to 777 and loading us with so much debt that we nearly went under.

Absolutely.

Not defending him. He's done some mind numbingly poor stuff.i just think there's an element of misfortune with the Stadium.

777, Textor nightmares.

But i always think it wasn't his money, it was Usmanovs and he wanted rid.

Moshiri is an absolute fool, and the same goes for anyone praising him. gobshite puppet for his Russian and agent mates, i do not wish him the best of luck.
How can anyone dislike Sir Farhad for single handedly funding this jewel in the crown ?

The 4 horsemen of doom are Kenwright, Walsh, Brands & Lampard.

Moshiri has been the only positive force at the club since the days of Wee Davey. At least we could dream when King Carlo was appointed, when we spent big on the likes of Richarlison, when we lit up the world Blue signing James Rodriguez & when the club secured the land for BMD.

When could we ever dream before Mosh Man turned up ?

You mean idiots like this ?

Shame he`s not around anymore, I`d have loved to have seen his take on the news today.

Thanks for the stadium Fart'ed, now

I think his legacy will split opinion massively, for me on the pitch the first few years were a disaster of mismanagement, recruitment failures with players, DoF and managers, ultimately we spent too much money in a short space of time and ended up with a points deduction and a mixed bag of a squad, that being said we have have tightened our belt last few seasons (resulted in us circling the drain on relegation and terrible football) and he managed to attract good buyers

Off the field the stadium is a massive success and we have to give him credit for the drive and funding there

An era where ultimately on the field we went top 8 to bottom 8, but off the field improved on the mistakes of the 20 years before
