Bizarre mainline into Jim White. Wasting vast amounts of money on average players.

Appointing both Benitez and Ancelotti feels like fever dreams which didn’t actually happen for vastly different reasons.

How we’ve managed to come out of it in the Premier league, with a new stadium having seemingly avoided direct connection with Usmanov seems… unlikely.

A very weird time.

The new stadium will be legacy. No one can ever take that away from him. It's an monumental achievement that no one thought would occur and I thank him for that.

HOWEVER. In order to get from point A to point B he didn't have to spend foolishly like he was playing footy manager, sow chaos and division and keep on Bill's merry gang of stooges hat have been holding the club back since 1989 AND appoint that fat piece of [Poor language removed] Kopite as manager that did nothing but mock and ridicule Everton while RS manager. That reason alone is why I hold very little regard for Moshiri. He had no clue and no plan beyond building the new stadium and did nothing but made the fans go through a living hell until he sold up. He was nothing without Usmanov signing the checks.

Thanks for the new stadium, Farhad. Now never come back...

He was (allegedly) a money launderer for .... Who saw an opportunity in the unregulated world of football to invest lots of dirty money into a project and then a capital spend with the view of eventually selling at a 1:2 ratio.
They spent like coke heads on terrible players who were advised by coke heads.
Then the war happened.
Then he wanted and needed out.
He's lost money, but it was never legitimate money anyway. They will still turn a profit on the last 10 years

He's the final bit of the Kenwright cancer to be purged after poisoning the club for over thirty years now. Him leaving and a fresh new start at a new ground is the first real chance at change we've had in my lifetime. It might difficult road to improve things but its nice to finally feel optimistic about the clubs again without the poison of this utter bellend, our old scumbag chairman and the rest of the stupid squad on the board.

There was a time not so long ago when I would've defend this rat. I always felt like he at least cared about club in his own incompetent, bafflingly stupid way which is more then you could say for Billy Liar. But then 777 happened and he showed himself for who he was. So nah, he can utterly eff off now and I hope he knows that he's hated by the vast majority of the fanbase.

I genuinely think Moshiri tried to be fair.

His legacy will be the stadium, not the obscenely terrible results and performances on the pitch. He ploughed a fair amount of money into the club, only for brands and others to piss it up the wall on mediocre garbage.

Glad to see him go, but greatful for what he tried to achieve on the pitch, and did achieve with the stadium
To be honest we don't know who authorised wasting all that money in 2017. Whoever decided we didn't need to replace Lukaku and instead we needed Klassen, Sandro and Vlasic needs to be blamed. Had we just did what RS did and bought a few quality players rather than rubbish who knows where we would be now. When Moshiri came in you simply had no idea of who was making decisions. I wouldn't blame Brands for our problems.

I get the sentiment, but being the owner of a football club is not about effort or intentions.

When Brands finally left the club, he did an interview where he basically said his hands were tied by Moshiri constantly overriding him (without naming names of course).

It means nothing when you want to spend money and you spend it on absolute dross just like it means nothing if you want a DoF and you never him do his job and in the case of Steve Walsh: You hire a dude who never done that job in the first place just because you couldn't land Monchi.

He had no clear plan or vision. & treated owning Everton like it was Football Manager. He signed players and managers based on their name recognition more rather than if there a good fit or not.

He allowed Bill and his cronies to stay on and even promoted one of them to Chief Exe (who has zero experience in that role other than being the charity lady), he listened to slimeball agents like Kia, was clueless after Usmanov was frozen out of England and if he had it his way, the club would of been sold to 777 (a group who's more slimy than he was). This is on top of allowing the club to slander their own fans and hiring Benitez as manager (which was the last straw for me).

Since you brought up Rom. I remember that interview Moshiri did after Rom went to Man U where he said Rom was ready to sign a new deal with Everton and at the last minute his family's Witch Doctor said not to do it and the deal was off. Yeah the moron actually said that with a straight face.

Like I said earlier: Thanks for the new stadium. You did something no one else could of done and I legit appreciate that but ppl are fooling themselves if you think the guy was something other than an absolute chancer.

He’s also done an interview about a month ago talking up how he had to over rule mosh about buying Balotelli when he was negotiating for Kean
so depending on how he want to frame his ‘achievements’ here he changes his narrative
He’s ripped snow washed denim wearing bluffer.

And regarding the witch doctor thing, iirc, what he actually said was Roms agent at the time, the lovable Raiola, told him his mum saw a witch doctor who told her not to let him sign.
Rom threatened legal action against Moshiri but never went through with it🤔
That whole episode reeked of Raiola trying to fob mosh off and Mosh repeating it when no one thought he would imho.
