interestingly was speaking to my brother who isn't a forum goer. he hears his ITK news at work, etc, but has a completely different perception. he doesn't think much has changed and the rumours of waterfront and kings dock aren't that loud outside of forums.

I actually quite like the fact that out of the blue there was a new goodison revamp, a manager who everyone said wouldn't join us, etc. it's kinda like the old days. I remember us singing kanchelskis.... that was amazing. when we signed rom that was fun on here with plan watch and all but it's a bit different getting the ITK stuff.

he hadn't heard the mata rumours really so that would be mega exciting if it comes off.

getting our business done efficiently and quietly is good. I look forward to the next ITK tidbit being true :)

Interesting mate. I think what you are saying is a reflection of the fact that much of the decision making and planning is being done in London and the playing staff don't return until Monday.

More generally, pretty much all the preparatory work has been done for Moshiri to acquire his majority holding. He is expected to become the majority holder within the next three months.

Then it becomes very exciting. In the meantime Koeman has access to his funds for player acquisition - as I said a couple of days ago, a couple are v close to completion, good ones at that.

Is one of them a midfielder, by any chance?

what positions is he looking at?
Here's a big clue, mate.

Thanks for the update mate. Interesting that Moshiri is likely to have majority over the coming months.

Are you able to shed any more light on the two signings at all? I'm guessing it'll be Begovic and Mata?
