Interesting mate. I think what you are saying is a reflection of the fact that much of the decision making and planning is being done in London and the playing staff don't return until Monday.

More generally, pretty much all the preparatory work has been done for Moshiri to acquire his majority holding. He is expected to become the majority holder within the next three months.

Then it becomes very exciting. In the meantime Koeman has access to his funds for player acquisition - as I said a couple of days ago, a couple are v close to completion, good ones at that.

Cuddle me Esk

I'd be surprised if he did given that he didn't make the squad but let's keep on hoping.

lol
Kevin "Amokachi" Mirallas strikes again.

Seriously, what a fantastic idea to hold Wales v Belgium in Lille! Big congrats to whoever pencilled that in - it'll be like a proper derby game

Love what he has done for us already. Am 100% certain he will be absolutely amazing for us off-field. New waterfront stadium his legacy.
Not convinced that will translate to on-field success to be honest. That is going to be the largest mountain to climb for him.
This 110%.

New stadium as the architectural iconic structure in the city and Champions League theme ringing inside it under the lights, people will look back and wonder how they ever doubted Moshiri.

The guy is taking us to the promised land.

He is, but what we do on the pitch is going to matter most and that side of the project starts in just 6 weeks' time.

I love that Moshiri's first summer transfer window signing is in all likelihood a third choice goalkeeper. He doesn't give a damn about showing off or spunking a load of money just to look impressive, he is just going to buy the players our squad needs and he actually has the financial muscle to do so.
A very optimistic spin one may argue :)
