Just don't see us as a big enough 'brand' to warrant separate deals for kit and training gear. Then again I'm sure moshiri will endevour to do his best to revatilise our commercial operations. Maybe separate contracts for kit and training gear through his business contacts could happen. What I can see further down the line is naming rights for our stadium (especially if it a waterfront location) that will being in substantial money.Has Anyone seen published figures relative to training kit sponsorship deals.
I see Liverpool have a deal. United already have one as do Chelsea I appreciate we may not have the same draw but surely we can get something which ultimately will be 100% profit & can go straight on wages.
Please somebody tell me our deal with chang does not preclude any option for training kit sponsorship.
Understated way of going about his business in the 'Everton way'. The difference being moshiri is making 'big noises' through his actions rather than words.Precisely.
Moshiri isn't exactly broadcasting what he's doing.
Because. Loose lips sinks ships.
And I am beginning to sound like Anne WiddicombeA few people like this, I don't understand it.(the view from middle England)
Completely agree mate but it's an easy option if moshiri wants to use a backJust don't see us as a big enough 'brand' to warrant separate deals for kit and training gear. It's utterly flawed when they keep selling all their best players to the rsIm sure that was 1 of the reasons Koeman came, I mean the 6-7m a year must have helped, but Southampton have this 5 year plan bollocks, slow incremental squad building, the Martinez way, buy quality youngsters and watch them increase in value, a noble, but sadly flawed plan.
Buy ready made players and win the lot I say.
If they continue there current model all it will take are poor summer signings & a few injures & it will be panic stations. It's utterly flawed when they keep selling all their best players to the rs
Without underestimating the job Moshiri has ahead of him, it is heartening to see that he believes he can achieve instant success. We really are a giant of a club who has missed every opportunity going to compete nevermind actually be in the ascendency. Moshiri must have seen a big opportunity in us to have taken it on. He is here to make money and he wouldn't be here if that wasn't going to happen. I don't even think he views us as a risk, he has assessed the size of the club and the opportunities available and knows he can deliver.I agree with this - it seems the strategy will be to produce a team capable and with the best chances of winning something as soon as possible, then using that success as a platform for a more structured, longer term strategy of gradual squad development and redefinition.
Didn't work..anyway mosh looking sharp in the link
