Jay-Jay and Campo were a decent duo, Anelka did alright. Some of it wasn't bad there. It was horrible everywhere else.Back on the day when he had a million loan players at bolton, was he this negative?

Think he went about 4 straight games without a shot on target or somethingcoz we sacked BS? he was on a hiding to nothing and should of never been near us

He definitely wasn't the solutionIt was horrible.
What we have now has been horrible for years also.
I support Everton, and that name should mean a hell of a lot more than the dire rubbish that we have seen under him and others for years.
He had Djorkaeff there too for a while, long past his best of course, but like Jay-Jay was occasionally given some scope to be slightly more than just a hooferJay-Jay and Campo were a decent duo, Anelka did alright. Some of it wasn't bad there. It was horrible everywhere else.
yeah, its been a bundle of laughs since! If we had kept alardyce we would have been finishing 8th and winning and losing by the odd goal. Games would have been terrible to watch and we would have been calling for his head.
While potentially we would be been better off it would have been no fun support us
Conclusion is it would have crap either wayyeah, its been a bundle of laughs since!
I wouldn't agree with regretting hounding him out because in the long-term he was far from what we needed. However, I said at the time, he was unfairly judged.I fear that we might regret hounding him out for finishing 8th.
We as fans have at times had ludicrously high expectations of players and managers alike.
Hard to disagree with any of that.I wouldn't agree with regretting hounding him out because in the long-term he was far from what we needed. However, I said at the time, he was unfairly judged.
He was brought in to ensure the club weren't relegated, and he did that successfully. He was unapologetic about his means and did exactly as expected.
If we're talking about successful appointments, he is one of the few you could say have meet the criteria, but equally you could see it wasn't a long-term match.
I totally agree with the ludicrously high expectations part because we - the general fan base - were expecting top signings and a push for Europe.
Moshiri's money went to everyone's head, whereas in reality we needed patience, a realistic build up and to look at stabilising ourselves again in the top half.
Perhaps letting Silva go when he did is the most recent regret.
We might? we allready do, it was a insane move from Farhad Moshiri, we have only been worse since, architects of our own demise.I fear that we might regret hounding him out for finishing 8th.

I would have kept Sam for another year. Just for stability.
He is a big character and can't imagine him putting up with the nonsense that surrounds ate club for the board.
Though he deserved a bit more time myself.
